Expecting Interview in June

i had sent pm about mumbai consulate..... and when is yr wife's interview? and will you attend the interview too?? just li'l confused, if USC can also face interview along with spouce ???

okey . no problem ben....... ws just curious as my husband is also coming for my interview.. cant tell you how gr8 relief it is when yr sopuse is thr to cheer up and to check all the requirement.. . i am already counting days for my hubby to come on 5th june

For you who read Corinne's interview review, did you notice they asked for the$400 fee?

And then she showed the receipt from NVC, but I was thinking, NVC closed that payment website for us and I don't have that receipt with me, I only have the cover letter.

Is that something they usually ask for? Or would they know if I paid by the cover letter?

That kind of worries me now. You guys know, every detail is like a big thing for us.

I think printing the NVC cover sheet and bringing it to the interview is enough proof it was paid. If u don't have it, the other suggestion someone made was also good (bring statement of ur bank showing the payments made to NVC).

I love ur positive attitude! U r right since there is not much u can do, doesn't help to let it get to u. But the good news is that they didn't move it up by a month or something. OMG if something like that happened to me after moving us up I would have a heart attack!! Actually in the back of mind I am paranoid hubby will show up on May 12th and they will turn him away saying sorry ur NVC letter states June 17th!! Praying hard it doesn't happen!

I asked to the lady who told me about the change if i will receive another letter, and she told me NO, the date has been changed that's all you have to know... and i made some other questions and I think she doesn't know anything about the process... she just do the phone call

gixbr, about the $400 IV fee, if you don't have the receipt maybe you can print and show something of the bank's transaction... just an idea....

His _Wifey, since ur interview was expedited you should contact the consulate and see if u require a letter to be granted entry at the door on the day of ur interview. That's what I did, and they said nope since hubby's name will be at the door.

Oh, I did paint the entire porch all on my own yesterday : Now every part of my upper body is killing me..Hehe... I was so tired and in sleep that when my mom called me this morning, I was asking her, what day is it? do I have to work today?

Hi everyone! Filipina here. I just wanna share mine. We are on K1 visa. We have an attorney, but still, it did not meet my expectation of receiving their 100% support.

Anyway, I don't have my packet yet but I already have my visa interview this May 18, 2009. I am going to have my medical on May 11.

My questions:

• Won't there be any problem with my medical schedule? Is't just in time for my visa interview?
• I don't have my packet yet, should I worry and do something about this? And what is that they said that I have to pay for 600 peso at the Metrobank for the delivery. Some say, that 600 peso is for verification of documents from NSO. They also said that it should be paid at least 1 month before the interview, or else, it would be a cause of delay for the release of the visa. Is that right?

Isle, sorry I can't be of much help since we filed for K3/CR1. But I don't think the date of the medical will have any negative effects on the interview date being so close as long as u get evtg done is time. Don't worry and if u want peace of mind, contact one of the physicians to ask how long till they hand u the results and sealed envelope which u need to bring with u to interview. As for ur other questions, have u tried posting this in the K1 forum? I am sure a lot of experienced K1 filers on VJ can help you out better than we can in this thread. Good luck!

i emailed mumbai consulate about interview letter ... they replied tht i can use the same interview letter sent by NVC for medical and interview ....... i m confused coz i read on VJ in some post about consulate letter for interview.. coz they ask for it at VFS ... wht should i do now ?

they said i can pick a copy on counter at consulate in week days but not possible to go to mumbai for tht ...

i used the one NVC sent me to do my medical exam and i'll use it for the interview too, the consulate didn't send me anything 10 days to go

I got my interview date - June 16, 2009 8:30am... I am worried coz i bought a ticket to Cebu to visit my relatives with my parents from June 16 to June 19..

Can i reschedule my interview date?
