Hello everybody,

New here on here, just got my case completed today @ NVC, so there's lots I gotta catch on ...so please fill me in.

Thanks to my buddy GS, for the info!!!!!

and Girl, how your hubby passed the exams and all, did he have to wait for the letters/case complete generated NVC forms to take to the doc or what, how does that part work?

thanks any info on this new steps would be greatly appreciated.

New here on here, just got my case completed today @ NVC, so there's lots I gotta catch on ...so please fill me in.

Hey Mayra, Welcome! So nice to have u with us :P

Hubby took the K3 forms the consulate gave him for the medical since his K3 interview was scheduled for Monday May 4th but then the consulate turned around and cancelled his K3 appointment due to our CR1 being assigned a date...so hubby called the doctor and she told him he can come back for the vaccinations and all he needs to do is bring the NVC appointment letter. So the K3 and CR1 medical are the same except extra vaccinations for CR1. I think as soon as u have ur interview appointment email/letter u can bring that to do ur medical. Also always a good idea to check with ur consulate as each consulate is different and some don't mind if u do ur medical b4 NVC assigns the interview date while some do. Also some doctors do not agree to conduct the test unless u have a letter or forms from the consulate. So it pays to ask the consulate directly or call the panel of physicians for ur consulate. Hope this helps :)

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered

04/20/09: WOOHOO CR1 already out of AP; DS 230/AOS accepted with no RFEs!! Sign in failed on NVC payment site.
