OH MY GOODNESS!!! WHAT A DAY!!! AWESOME GIXBRRR!! NO INTERVIEW DATE FOR ME EITHER ..I BELIEVE I CALLED AN HOUR AGO. BUT HOW IS IT POSSIBLE U R GETTING A DATE SO LATE AND CONSULATES OVERSEAS ARE CLOSED? I JUST SENT ANOTHER EMAIL NUDGE TO OUR CONSULATE...KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED THEY WILL CONTACT ME OR NVC TOMORROW SO I CAN JOIN U GUYS WITH A DATE!!

GIXBR UR CASE WAS COMPLETED A DAY B4 MINE SO DARE I GET EXCITED FOR TOMORROW???

I know, we just called NVC and the operator said "we just updated the system and here it is your interview date", I think they called to the embassies earlier in the day. You might be getting yours soon too!!!!!

Yeah today was the longest I waited to get to an operator and I'm glad too because I heeard the great news after the long wait..

Does your email has any info about medical,Mine doesn't its a 4 pages pdf file,taking about apointment and what docs to bring for intreview

ATK OR WHOEVER RECEIVED THE APPOINTMENT LETTER ...CAN SOMEONE POST THE DOCS NEEDED FROM THE PETITIONER PRETTY PLEASE ....I AM FEDEXING A BUNCH OF STUFF FOR HUBBY TOMORROW FOR HIS K3, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF I COULD INCLUDE DOCS NEEDED FOR HIS UPCOMING CR1

Here you go,These are the general docs needed from all applicant.Last page has a personalized checklist of docs that has been submitted or need to be submitted to NVC.I am not pasting that as It might be different for your case.

* Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted

to the NVC must be brought to the visa interview.

* The applicant must bring his/her medical examination results to the visa interview

in an envelope sealed by the medical office.

* The applicant must bring the correct size and number of photographs to the visa

interview. They must measure 2 inches by 2 inches (5 cm by 5 cm) on a white

background.

* IF a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) AND provided the NVC with

proof of an IRS Federal Income Tax Extension in lieu of a Federal Income Tax

Return, the applicant must bring the sponsor's most recent Federal Income Tax

Return to the visa interview.

* Failure to present all necessary documents to the Consular Officer will result in

the applicant's immigrant visa being refused at the initial interview.

* Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted

to the NVC

* The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by

the physician

* The correct size and number of photographs

* Valid passport for all traveling applicants

Still no interview date. Was told to wait next month for a date.

Is it a good idea to get a medical exam even before one gets a schedule?

i think they assigned dates for all of us at same time so we stop harassing them by calling one after another.......... lol..

we want to join the festivities, we got the interview appointment letter last night also. Mid-June. It's ok even though we were hoping for more like beg of June. oh well.

Congrats to all of you who got interview dates. Will be calling first in the morning to see if I can hear those magic words too. But I'm not holding my breath, but one can only hope!!!

Yeah you should probably get it today or u can call to ask when u would be getting it.When i was told about interview scheduling yesterday ,I ask the operator when i would get appointment letter and she said" they have put it in the mail today and the email is scheduled to go out today as well".So that would give u an idea by when u should expect it.

How do you find out when your case was forwarded to the embassy and when it was received by the embassy? After you are scheduled an interview of course. Is there some way to track your file?

I know as my appointment letter says that it has been forwarded to embassy i havent tracked it personally.But here is a thread that can help u track
