My wife adjusted status from a K1 visa. Her son entered on a K2 and adjusted with her on her application. Two days ago she received her notice that her CGC would arrive in 3 weeks. It arrived the next day. However, we have not received a notice or a CGC for her son.

Does anyone know it is typical that one is received before the other or is this an indication of a problem that I must do something about? Thanks.

ours was about a week or 10 days apart ... don't know why... you would have thought they travelled together

Same for us. We were getting things everyday in the mail for about a week, starting one week after the interview. Welcome letters, APs, EADs, GCs all on different days for my wife and our son.
