How heart breaking is that? Jon didn't hear anything from his senators this past week either. I asked him to call on Monday or Tuesday and find out if they even got his request for help. I know he should have faxed but he doesn't follow any directions but those given on the forms. Which don't say to fax. I'm going out of my mind about all of this arghhhh. I was hoping it would be over in 6 months and ha its not even half way yet!!! I really don't want to have to go through another Canadian winter ya'll!!! I hate not knowing what is going on. Pooh. Yep another Sarah vent. *sigh*

I feel for you, Cali.....its been 4 months and a week since CSC got my petition, and it has been painful to say the least. I got my senator involved this week as well, and hopefully a quick resolution will come from this. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for you too.

*hugs* hope something breaks for you soon. I would definately call the senator's office...this is crazy! Since you're not part of this IMBRA thing, I can't see why it's taking so darn long for them to approve this! Hang in there...it's got to be soon. (F)

Sarah - this is so heartbreaking. I won't harp on the fact that he didn't fax it. But he should call on Monday to follow up and put some pressure on the Senator's office. You guys need answers and they are the ones to get them for you. Thinking of you!

Thanks guys, I have cried my eyes out alot today. I called Jon while I was upset too and he says he is going to get on them on Monday and find out what is going on this week if he can. It makes it worse when I have no close friends here to do things with or that I live in the sticks and can't get into town to do things on my own (no buses and i dont drive) so I have all this time to think and its driving me mad. I am definatly getting some sort of job when I get out to California because I can't stand not having anything to do anymore. It's no use me getting a job now because who knows when things are going to pick up with uscis and then i will be asked to truck here and there for medicals and interviews. *sigh* I guess I'll have to make do with what I have and try to stop stressing out as best I can.

I hope you will finally get your NOA2. Only consolation here is that I am sure it will be coming your way soon. Most that undergo security checks get their NOA2 is six months from what I have seen here. Just look on this time of waiting as a time to rest. When you get to the US and start working there will hardly be time for anything. You will be in our prayers. (F)

HI.

It is so hard, the waiting i mean..i waited for 6 months with no reply.

I have a irregular heartbeat and that got worse, i was crying a lot. I know what your going through, its been 9 months and a half and i just got into the States last week. While i was waiting it felt like nothing was ever going to happen, then one day i got an email saying i was approved.

This was after i contacted the congressman for Oklahoma, within that week we where approved.

Please hang tough, be good to yourself.

Maybe try an online course, if you cant get out a lot, look at wedding info online, sleep a lot, eat well and try not to think about it...yes i know that part is hard.

take care, i hope you hear something soon.

I know how you feel. I waited 6 months for my NOA2, and every bit of it was horrible. Give the senators some time, usually they will not do anything until a paper is filled out by the USC and sent back, giving them permission to investigate. It took me a week to get that paper, and 3 days for them to get it back from me. The day after my congressman got the signed paper from me, i had my NOA2. Hang on, its coming!!

If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to pm me.

Hugs,

Tara

I know its of little consolation, but at least if you are stuck in security checks you know they are working on your petition and making progress towards your NOA2...

Those of us (especially from CSC) who are still waiting for RFE's due to IMBRA have had our petitions shelved.... 90 days and counting here... I just pray that we don't have the ADDED delay of security checks on top of everything else... :(

I'm pulling for you Cali, as I know we all are

Sorry to hear about how long it is taking. It sure is a ridiculous amount of time to wait. I am also waiting in Canada. If you don't mind me asking, why did they put a border block on you? I think I have the same thing on me too.
