Ours is the same way. The web shows that it was received on the 13th and a notice was mailed out. We never did get the NOA1 so waiting the required 30 days we called yesterday and they told us that the NOA1 was never mailed out because of a "glitch" in the system!! So we asked if anyone was assigned to our case yet and she told us it takes two months and that our file was still in the mailroom. STILL IN THE MAILROOM??????

Your case is prolly not in mailroom.. When u call it goes to an operator that isnt even located at the service centers. Just because you dont have a touch doesnt mean theyre not working on your app. quite a few i have seen never even get registered in the online system before getting shipped off to nvc.

thats not a big deal

first these opertors are not located at the service centers

second alot of members (including me ) have their status not touched and they got approved (im approved and received hard copy and my status still show RECEIVED AND PENDING wzout any touches )

so dont depend on the online status system

cheer up

Good Luck

This files are in mailroom, but in sections of receipt. They can not take all the received petitions and place on offiers desks, the desks would collapse. Everyday, they are assigned a section, they are distributed and worked on. Anyone being approved in 20 day, 25 days well they are the lucky ones. But for us with NOA 1 March 12, reasonable approval time would be early to mid May. Ao in mwan while get to know the NVC process so you can breeze thru it, best to prepare now, get your docs for NVC cause it will take a while for Police cert, and etc. Good luck, hey it could be worse, we all could be at VSC.

Truly happy!!!

The mailroom is where all petitions are kept till they are worked, not just petitions like ours, but worker petitions, and etc.

Hang in there, a Feb. filer Mariel got approved, her NOA 1 was March 5th, she was a few days ahead of us, so we are the next ones!!!

kinda hard to sit on your #### all day waiting for the damn NOA2... sucks.. but we all have to cope with waiting time.

i think mariel waited around 40+days. USCIS customer service said it takes them around 2 months to process the I130. We all have almost a month of waiting already... couple more weeks then we'll have our NOA2 already.

I'm going to start listing down my docs... then start changing all my paperworks here in Philippines to my married name so I have a better proof of valid relationship. I've started with my phone bills.. next will be my Social Security, and etc.

Keep reading about the NVC process... we've already waited this long.... another week or two won't kill us.
