Nagi....in response to GOOD MOANING  I am ready to as well.

Jillai....I feel for you....I miss Morocco but when I am there I have to be attached to my husband's hip. If I had to live there I would have no freedom or life unless he was present every minute. I do love my life and independence here, no doubt. When do you plan to return? You are waiting on his visa I think.

Kellz....nice family portrait...handsome lil ####### :)

Olivia...you have alot on your plate. Good Luck with all your things and I bet you also have alot of anxiousness and preparing over your reunion :luv:

Tamara...my husband has this tooth that bugs him on/off. He has perfect teeth but hasnt had any dental care. We are planning an appt soon but

without insurance you know how costly that can be. Anyway he woke early this morning with a terrible toothache. What is up with MENA land this morning and teeth??

I was a little late for work...no biggie. Rain here all day today and tomorrow....we are getting off to very wet April already. But Thursday and Friday are going to be delightful...70 I think Friday...YEAH! B)

Maureen I am with you...IDOL tonight...I find it to be a good season.

I go home...I am doing nothing. I always say that and then can sit still. I always have something to do and feel lazy if I dont do anything. I am just relaxing. Tarik will be working until 11:30 pm (home by 12:30am). I sooooooooo need to sleep early. When hubby is around he keeps me up too late. He is an insomniac..He doesn't go to sleep before 4/5 am.

So I didn't sleep yet and instead started working on today's projects.

ASL stuff

Audio Production Stuff

One thing down.

Jillai what part of Egypt are you in? When I am there we can go out if you are in Cairo. I'm not letting language or Hubby stop me from having adventures! Ha! We talked about it and he said as soon as I know my way around I could have at it. :P Of course we're both having cell phones to stay in contact for the just in case.

Im in Alexandria, which is about an hour and half from Cairo. but yes, definitely contact me when your here, and we can get together. I love taking trips to Cairo! and find it much different from Alex. and maybe u and your husband could come for a visit to Alex as well. we can go out to eat and look around the city ;)

Morning MENA, hope everyone is doing well. Today I actually need to schedule a dentist appointment for a check-up. I was supposed to get a crown done last year, but I put it off. They did all the prep work though, lol. I'll be working most of the day so nothing really exciting.

Jillai, I feel for you girl. I stayed with my husband for a month in Syria and we always went out together. I didn't have the desire really to go out on my own though I do speak Arabic. I was still in that honeymoon phase for that month with my husband. Yet, if I stayed as long as you, I would go stir crazy too. I wish you the best and hope you get more chances to go out.

Married: May 28th, 2007

Oh Jillai girl, I totally ventured away by myself in Jordan, granted I was nervous and I did do it purposefully to irritate my husband :) but well I was pretty miserable after a month with no freedoms. Anyway, I totally feel for you.

and 4Long I'm glad I'm not the only freak who doesn't sleep :) And you are far more motivated than me, so far I've made 28k bells on animal crossing (video game for wii) :)

Mornin' Ronell I keep telling myself "april showers bring may flowers, and my husband inshallah" :)

Ya, I tried that one.. venturing out alone when I first arrived here... that didnt work! I come from a family that women must listen to their husbands.. and if they don't .. well, lets just say, they will be punished!

but you remind me of a friend I have here living in Alex... shes an American, and she TOLD her hubby up front... I dont care if u dont want me going outside, IM GOING! and there is not going to be a discussion about it. needless to say, im not as lucky as she is, nor as assertive

My husband always tells me, I will live the Egyptian culture while Im here in Egypt, he will live the American culture when hes in America... Im just wondering how much of all of that is gonna play out when we get there.... im waiting .........

Morning. My plans today consist of working, getting the bbq propane filled, cooking dinner and MAYBE some cleaning and then watching American Idol.

Jillai, how much longer will you be staying in Egypt?

Hi Maureen :)

Well, I am about to send my packet back as soon as we finish up getting all the copies made.. from there we will wait to hear from the Embassy for his interview date. Im assuming once he gets his interview he will go into AP.. (seems all Egyptians do) so, Im not really sure, but Im thinking we will be out of here before Winter hits again. or so Im hoping.

I think that it might be a bit different if I could speak Arabic, and had a full understanding of my surroundings... I have to say I do get a little nervous when Im outside , because of not being able to understand what is being said to me, I do understand very basic arabi, or when its spoken to me slowly. but if I ever encountred a problem, I don't know if I could help myself.

I have been here now in Egypt almost 3 years, and I dont think my situation is gonna change anytime soon, Im just living day to day on the hope that I will be back in my country soon, and re-start my life again with my husband. but thank u so much for the sweet thoughts :x

I have read so many of your posts, and I have to say, sometimes I think you and I live a carbon copy life lol...

I would love to talk with you.

Im in the middle of my process now, as soon as we send our packet back, we will wait to get his interview date, and we'll go from there... hopefully I will be breathing that American air again soon... thats all Im waiting for...

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday. Beautiful day here today.

Nagi, is your husband going away? How are you feeling now?

Judy, laughed at your post. Neverending adventure huh!!

There's a bird outside that has the sweetest and cutest voice.

It sounds like she is saying "ha wo" ha wo"! Maybe i'm understanding

bird talk but I swear she is saying "hello"!!

Tam, have you requested IV sedation? If not you should give it a try.

Best way to have a tooth removed.

Have a few errrands to do then it's off for a manicure and pedicure.

I hope everyone has a great day. Take care and stay safe.
