hi everyone! i just wana ask if it is possible for the petitioner and the beneficiary (i.e. me and my fiance), that after i've been approved for a k1 visa, and have been married as soon as arriving in the us,,could travel in any state like visiting his family in new jersey and my family in maryland?? (we will be living in guam) but as soon as i complete my residency there, we are planning to get jobs in the mainland wherever.. hopefully so we cud be with our families,getting there in a much cheaper and easier way.. :) il appreciate all ideas and advises.. thank you!!

As long as you have the visa then there'll be no problem touring anywhere around the US. You can even have your POE in any state according to your choice.

Jan. 7, 2008 - He proposed online and I happily gave him my YES!

April 27, 2007 - He arrived in Manila; I picked him up at the airport.

May 14, 2008 - His departure. Saddest moment so far :'(

March 26, 09 - Interview Date: APPROVED!!!

May 7, 09 - Arrival (Oregon, USA)

May 16, 09 - Wedding Day (Wohooo!)

Oct. 10, 09 - Green Card Received (Yeeheeyyy!)

you definitely can. always bring along your passport and marriage certificate! ;)
