How Do one bring family members(mother and married sister) after getting got permanent residency card which expires after 2 years from date it was issued (AOS interview)?

Also after getting permanent residency card can we consider as permanent resident or we have to wait till we remove conditions within 2 years from card issued?

On one of employment verification form it was asking are you

1 citizen

2. permanent resident

2 alien eligible to work with DHS authorization.

I know we can not choose US citrizen but am not sure if we should choose permanent resident option or the third option eligible work with DHS authorization.

You can't bring anyone over until you are a US citizen.

and the correct answer is #2.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

A Legal Permanent Resident can only petition for a spouse and unmarried children. You will have to become a US citizen before you can petition for your mother and married sister. If you are married to a US citizen, it will be three years before you can apply to become a US citizen. After that you can petition for your mother - that will take 12-18 months. To petition for your married sister, it will take another 14 years from India. So at least 17 years for your sister.

You are a permanent resident. An "alien eligible to work with DHS authorization" is a person with a work (employment) visa.
