k3 still under review

You can't do anything... just have to wait.

If memory serves me correct, you are the 30 year old who has the 60 year old.... seems they still don't believe you are genuinely in love with someone 30 years older.

Unfortunately, I think yes, after giving them sufficient documents, i don't think i able to convinced them........

I don't understand. So if your fiance is twice your age, does it follow that the embassy will send you to the fraud unit? And then may have to put your application under review for the next six months?

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

I remember your case aries girl, I was still there in the Phils. when i read that. Im sorry to say that you got an #### consul. Teena joe said she was 33 years younger to her husband but didnt had the same problem. It's really depends on a consul, some were not really hard to deal with. Anyway take some VJ's advice to let your husband call the USEM, that might help a lot. At least everyday to get their attention. Goodluck and i hope it will not really take 6 more months of waiting.

Thanks for all the replies. to update everyone, I never called the customer service again as it only gives me frustrations. Yes I followed some advices to make my husband called the embassy. He usually able to talk to Lorraine until he decided on April 20 to get a service of an immigration lawyer who will represents us in making follow ups and inquiries. Our lawyer keeps us updated and in his email last May 5 he said :

"From my several emails and telephone calls inquiring into the status of the K-3 visa, I have reason to hope that the visa will be issued within the next 10 days, and possibly sooner. I have been informed in the latest off the record discussion that your visa file has undergone officer review, that the new evidence received has overcome any issues in the case, and that the visa "is good to go." The remaining wait time appears to be for final security checks/clearance, and supervisory reviews.

In the aforementioned discussion, I intimated that you are both anxious for visa processing, and that I may have to take certain actions in this case to insure fair processing. I was asked if I was coming to Manila, and I said that I would rather avoid that, but that my appearance and other actions might occur in the event of further unnecessary delay. That is when the foregoing details were relayed to me."

WE are both happy about the news that the lawyer gave us. I hope everything will get better soon!

Thank you again VJs for all the advices and replies and I will keep you all updated.

God Bless you all.........

I don't want to think he is giving us false hope. But of course, I can't stop worrying until I hear from Air21 or from embassy a notification that my visa is for release. From what i have read here, Air21 usually text the applicant that the visa is ready for delivery.

in your comment " It sound like he is gonna milk this case for money"...... we are willing to pay all the cost incurred , we just want to be relieved in this case. And by the way he was recommended by a good friend, so we trust him.

Thanks for the post.........

Just wondering cause I was interviewed yesterday and the american consul is very rude to me cause I am nervous and he really asked me so hard, and after interview her didnt tell me I am approve. But i paid AIr 21, is it mean I am approve? Or he will put my case to FPU because the way he interviewed me?

Thanks Ping. And yes, I think customer service only tells a standard reply. I hope they realize calling them is useless and they can only give frustrations. As if you're paying them for making you feel bad and frustrated. :(

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.
