So, I have just received my AP, I am currently pending my AOS, and I have looked everywhere for the answer to this- when I'm coming back into the states (from the UK), do I use my K-1 visa? It's just when I entered last time on the K-1 it got all scribbled out. Also, do I hand in my current I-194 and get a new one on my way back? or does the AP mean that I don't need to? I have my AP documents, but I just want to know what else I need when I come back in....do I fill out the white form or the green one?

I am such a worrier that I'll be terrified all the way back here if I'm not sure!

Thank you!! :)

You can't use your K1 visa again. It's a one entry visa.

When you leave the US, they should take your original I94, the one sent with your AOS.

When you enter the US, you'll fill in another I94, hand over that and your 2 copies of your AP. They send you to secondary processing, and will do mysterious things, and will hand you back one stamped copy of your AP. You use this if you travel again under AP.

It's a good idea to have your NOA1 from your AOS and your marriage licence on hand, just in case too.

ETA: I94 is the white one.

I used my AP last week, not to worry! It's really easy and smooth! They take out your I-94 and give you a new one, stamp one copy of your AP and are supposed to keep the other, but they gave me both back. My K-1 is scribbled on too, but that is only used 1 time. Relax and have a wonderful trip home!
