WEll... my husband just called the USCIS and asked to be transfered to the CSC. It seems i didnt write his DOB right on the I-130!! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT? I perfectly know my husband's DOB, and the date I wrote was the date we fill it out. What a bummer!! Also, he was told that our case hasnt been touched only received and it wasnt even in the QUE yet. I AM SO SAD RIGHT NOW!! I know it might be too early for all this, since it's only been a month, but this is so lame. We havent got any RFE, so I guess knowing it now makes it a little positive. Who knows, maybe that was keeping our case to be approved.

If petition is still in the que, then you would not of received a RFE, cause no officer has started on it.

Also if husband sent his birth cert, maybe a officer will just fill in the DOB. Will just have to wait and see. Dont worry so much, during this time of waiting, start on the NVC stage, lots to do there, and when you are apporved, you will be all ready for NVC stage.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I do not follow completely. Where did you file first? I-130 processing is much faster no matter where in general. But CSC is not the worse of them definitely. You still have a long way though. I pray for your application to go express hopefully. In general, I-130 takes 4-6mons before Approval.

Welcome to VJ Forums and get to know people with your same timeline and please relax. All will be okay.

Be proactive on the wrong DOB. Send a letter to CSC to let them know in reviewing your copies, you noticed a typo. Let them know where and what the correct info is. Include a copy of passport or BC as proof.

I had a similar typo and that is what I was advised to do by USCIS. If you wait, you might get an RFE, which will slow things down.
