....what is NOTL! ??

NOTL is niagara-on-the-lake! bearmirus profile says that's where he's from. Its a smallish town down here in Southern Ontario. Its really quaint and fancy looking like from the 1800's... There's all these small old fashioned shops and things like that.

Whoops, I forgot to update my profile to Calgary. Thank you for the kind reminder, heh.

Yeah, NOTL is the small Canadian version of Napa Valley in California. Smack dab right in the heart of vineyard county with only 15 minutes away from Niagara Falls. Interesting tidy bit: the Town played a central part in the War or 1812.

Be sure to stay at Harbour House.

I enjoy Arahova. It's not "fun", but it sure is tasty! Plus, I love how they are open until 5am on Fridays and Saturdays. They have the best tzatziki I've ever had. Another plus is that it's right across the street from St-Viateur Bagel, which is also fantastic, and it is open 24 hours.

Hmm... it seems I've really only given suitable suggestions for if you can't sleep before the interview. That's not very helpful, is it?

Hrmm. Is it bad that I'm naturally fearful of Quebec and intend on leaving right after my interview? :P French intimidates me! I don't need food!

Not to worry, Huggles. Everyone speaks english in Montreal..... it is a very cosmopolitan city. The rude non-english speaking people are outside the city. Well..... for the most part. :P

Here's a link to one of my old posts, July: Comments on Montreal

There was a fabulous fabulous restaurant we went to on Rue Peel which I can't, for the life of me, remember what it's called. It had a prix fixe luncheon menu that was to die for. Unfortunately, I didn't get there for dinner but it's a must on my next trip. It's built like a trattoria with the huge open windows out front, and it was packed. It's located on the west side of Rue Peel between Rue Sherbrooke and Boulevard René Lévesque. I think probably closer to Rue Sainte-Catherine. OMG, I suck. Sorry this is so vague. lol

Oh! And there was an amazing deli downstairs at the train station underneath the Queen Elizabeth hotel. Actually, there's a whole underground city down there.
