Hi I posted this over in the Canada forum and they thought there that maybe this forum would be best in answering my question...

My husband recieved a paper called "choice of agent and address" form from the NVC today.

Should he fill this out hence he has a interview next month for the K3?

I know this is for the I-130 immigrant visa,, But would he do this one now or wait til he gets into the US

And file the AOS there?

Confused don't know what to do with it any advice please..

EAD:

Mailed EAD packet to Chicago: 08-01-2006

Chicago recieved EAD packet: 08-07-2006

Recieved NOA1: 08-12-2006

BIO APPT: 08-24-2006

Touched: 08-26-2006

Touched: 09-11-2006

Touched: 09-12-2006

EAD APPROVED: 09-15-2006

Email notice (3) recieved: 09-18-2006

EAD Card recieved: 09-20-2006

I answered over there...

If he wants to have the interview for CR1 in Canada, you can both go ahead and continue with the paperwork that NVC sends you for that. Or, you can notify NVC that he will go ahead with teh K3 and then file for AOS once he arrives in the US. NVC will then have to forward your I-130 to the appropriate district office for processing.

Its up to you how you want to proceed.
