Fake passports?

While it is most unfortunate for the entire family, they set the chain of events in actions and have no one to blame but themselves.

Sure the "let em slide" part of my personality says.. well, let em slide but if these people were given a pass, who then could they deport?

In life we take gambles and risks... sometimes you get away clean and other times you don't.

While I have got away clean a number of times, I always excepted the cost when caught.

I don't see where these people had a leg to stand on in the court room.

I felt justice was done! Given the amount of stress and suffer I had to put up upfront to get my wife here and adjusted LEGALLY. NO love from me for illegal immies!

whatever helps you feel better and sleep at night

You have some really good discussion points.

Not...

Can't use the those against illegal are racist on this one hey. ;)

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I slept very well everynight for I know I paid my due to get my wife into this country LEGALLY, follow every stinking details, cross all t's, dot all i's as my brothers and sisters from VJ recommended me that I should when It comes to USCIS. Paid every fees, went to every biometrics they requested, even the one they misplaced my wife's finger-prints somewhere and had to redo it. I'm sure I didn't cut the corner with the USCIS. Obey the laws and that's what I call civilized society, in theory!

Don't get me wrong, while i'm angry at the illegal immies, I have nothing against the child. She is the consequence of the reckless irresponsible action of her parents, some may say a failed attempt at a calculated risk, gambled their future with the long arm of the laws.

As mentioned on the above post, Japan govt was actually being KIND to let the kid stays! Kim has confirmed that JP has the strictest immigration laws, there is no such thing call naturalization unless you are a SUPER STAR or SPORT Figure (baseball players which could win a championship for JP) then they may GRANT a special citizenship for you and your family. Otherwise, even if you married a JP citizen, you will never be JP Citizen. Children who are born in JP of non-JP-citizens, are NOT JPC.

The issue at hand, we as the US, already have strict and strong immigration laws. We just need to enforce it to the fullest. I was mad when I read the news on the new DHS Boss decided to review work place immigration enforcement (stop checking for illegal workers at workplace). We are lawbiding citizens become less and less important, since when the govt. stop its duty to protect its citizens but turn the resource and effort to support the illegal/cheats and go against us in many cases I've seen on this board.

It's a sad story, and It makes me don't even dream of cheating the systems just to get ahead. It will catch up to you!

I feel bad that this girl was punished because of her parents mistakes, but I believe it is entirely her parents fault. I am glad Japan is giving her a chance to stay for now so she can get better schooling. It will give her a better chance later in life. Yet I feel it is fair to make her parents go back and it is her choice to stay so Japan is not really separating them. I wish we would stop giving citizenship to babies of people who are illegally here as well. Then people could stop trying to play that scam.
