Ooooh... I love cheese. It does depend on the mood and what else is being served. I love havarti, gruyere, chevre, a good sharp cheddar, asiago, fresh mozarella (with homegrown tomato and basil.... oo-weee, come on August!)...

but the best cheese EVER is YAK CHEESE!

Looking forward to a nice yak cheese pizza in Nepal this June!!

I notice a lot of the USCs refering to "sharp" cheddar. On the assumption that "sharp" is the US term for "mature", then I agree - the sharper the better.

And I absolutely love Roule, too.

I love mozzarella and also freshly grated Parmesan cheese. In the UK my fave was Red Leicester.

Velveeta.

I would say that just about all the cheeses listed on this poll so far are delish and yummy.

However, Velveeta is simply NOT cheese. I don't think it even qualifies as food!

(And yes, I do realize the poster wrote it with a tongue in cheek smiley )
