It's times like these, when I say a little prayer, sing a little hymn to the great Lord Almighty...Wonderful thing the K3. No dealing with NVC hellions.

I know what you're going to say... Some of you got stuck in AP. Well I'll tell you why. Steven is ungrateful to the good Lord...and therefore got stuck in AP. Lisa is a dark child...and therefore got stuck in AP. And GS...well you probably just annoyed God with your karma stars.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

GOD HAD A PLAN FOR US AFTER ALL....

Our K3 got to NVC on March 6th and was stuck in AP on March 10th. It was just sent to embassy today, which means we were in AP for 34 days total.

This is bitter sweet news to us since we had decided to follow CR1 but today found out our CR1 is also stuck in AP Stupid AP  Anyways, my hubby and I will follow whichever one gets us reunited faster cz we are so freakin' tired of this separation and nerve-wrecking wait!!! So we shall see where that leads us...We are now hoping to secure a May interview for K3 and be able to flip to CR1. I still beleive things happen for a reason. NVC closed the May interviews yesterday so maybe this happened in our favor seeing as how we can still get a May interview and possibly flip our K3 to a CR1 interview ...Still keeping the faith :innocent:

CNT weird that u should say that. I had just written the above on another post and then came on this thread and read ur comments

34 days might be a record GS!

Now, wait a minute... your CR1 is in AP at NVC?!?!? I have never heard of that. Im so sorry! Whats the usual wait time for a k interview to be scheduled at your guys' consulate? Hopefully not very long.

Here's to hoping that your CR1 gets out of AP just in time to flip it, if thats what you guys want to do.

I think AP at NVC will save from any post interview AP worry.. looking for the positive.

Yep, keeping it positive :star: I have to agree, Lis. I think it's standard for those of us from MENA whether it's @ NVC level or post interview. I personally prefer to get it all out of the way now as opposed to post interview. Thanks for the support! U r so sweet :luv:

I wonder if my IR1 is in AP??? hmmm :ranting:

Yes, the funny thing is that they don't volunteer to tell u unless u specifically ask. I had a hunch this morning when I saw ppl getting case complete who sent their files after us. So I decided to call and ask. First I asked about K3 and was told it left for embassy today so my hubby was happy about that. He is a K3 supporter :star: And then I asked can we check if CR1 is my AP and sure enough it was! Like I said I think this way we get a double chance. We will go for K3 and then hope the CR1 will get there around the same time. This way K3 would not have been a total waste after all. I am marching in Candid's footsteps. Where's garga now?? Candid send him my way ! :P

I am hoping our AP for CR1 will last even less than the 34 days for K3 since Leb is a small country and everyone knows one another there so it's easy to gather information about s/1 Pretty much everyone in our hometown knows us and our story and who our parens are (possibly even what hospital we were born in  )...Since the consulate just finished conducting AP for our K3 I am assuming they won't take 4ever on conducting AP on CR1. After all, they will be inquiring about the same individual!

Ohhhh :wow: , so sorry to hear that you are in AP. Remmember to never loose your hope, you will see that you willl be out of AP very soon and will be able to switch the K3 visa interview by that time.

:ot: Really, I don't know how this %$#&$ system works (if you can called a SYSTEM). You've just got out of AP for your K3 and now they want to do they same thing on the CR/IR. It think this is ridiculous. It is only a waist of money on their end but more important a waist of you and your hubby time. Do they know that they are separating people??
