I received a ds-3032 form but I think it needs to be filled out by my wife. My question is does it need to be filled out and if so does she need to use me as an agent since I reside in the US? Also do I need to send this to her to fill out and sign and send back to me? If so why did the NVC send it to me in the first place? I think this is holding up our case among other things. Thanks for any help. Everyone on here has been very very helpful and we really appreciate it.

The DS-3032 is to be filled out by the beneficiary, but it is not necessary to send it to her if you do it as an E-mail. You can find the temp plate for doing this on the WIKI link. Yes you would have her put you as the agent, all this form does is give NVC permission to send all further paperwork to you which will speed up the process. I would suggest you review the short cuts listed on the wiki as well as the NVC flowchart there. It will really help to understand the process and help you get thru it faster.

First, wondering if you received this in an email. If so, then so did she. If not, then I would suggest you to contact the NVC rep tomorrow and get the email registered.

Irrespective, she can simply designate you as an agent in an email to nvc as:

To: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Sub: Your case number - Beneficiary Name

Message:

NVC Case No:

CIS Case No:

Petitioner's Name:

Petitioner's Date of Birth:

Beneficiary's Name:

I tried the email route on this page http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

I hope this will work. It will be much easier than sending snail mail back and forth.

Thanks for the help
