Just want to share here the photos I posted in another PI topic "usapang garden"

1242181908.jpg I planted these flowers last week. Fortunately, they're still alive considering that I don't have a green thumb.

1242181564.jpg I bought a growing kit for basil, chives and parsley. Can you see the little sprouts?

1242181382.jpg Last week, too, I decided to replace the mulch in our backyard with river stones for a maintenance-free gardening. I will try to turn my backyard into a Japanese garden.

1242181405.jpg Our backyard was full of molehills at the beginning of spring. Bako-bako tuloy ang lupa pag nag-mow ng grass kasi lubog yung ibang parts tapos nakalbo pa ang grass kasi namamatay yung mga parte na hinuhukay ng mga moles. Moles lang ang problema namin dito sa backyard.

So yesterday, I decided to move the Japanese bell away from the shrubs where it was almost "invisible" and gave it a new place in the garden where it became the focal point. Ayan, nagmukha na talagang Japanese garden.

1242181382-1.jpg - The poor Japanese bell was almost invisible at the back

1242840986.jpg - Voila! Center of attention na siya.

Your backyard is beautiful Pinaywife. Great landscape.

We have cherry tree and lilac tree in our backyard. The flowers are really awesome. We were busy getting rid of the blackberry bushes for the last couple of weeks. Now it looks a lot better. My husband plans to have a vegetable garden again and we will start planting this weekend.

Thanks, Tahoma.

Patingin naman ng pictures ng trees and plants nyo. Yaiks, it's so hard to get rid of blackberry bushes kasi matinik masyado di ba? Tusok-tusok mga daliri ko when I picked wild blackberries, ang sakit.

My husband used to have the most well-maintained yard in our block but he got busy with work so the blackberry bush took over the yard. Sobrang matinik nga but we always used thick gloves and long clippers to cut them. We had fun doing it together. Ngayon ok na, wala nang bushes. Gusto ko rin ayusin ang mga plants sa harap ng bahay kaya lang nakakatamad because medyo malamig pa dito. I am still adjusting to the weather here. I don't feel cold if it is 60F and above but pag below na, mas gusto ko sa loob na lang ng bahay. Will post photos here soon.
