As I promised, here are the pictures of "my" garden that I thought would never survive --knowing I killed most of our plants in Pinas. Surprisingly, they did pretty good. These were taken last memorial day so by now, they have doubled their sizes and the tomatoes are wilder... so are the potatoes.

Here's where I planted onions, sweet corn, potatoes and sweet peas.

100_1713.jpg

100_1712.jpg

100_1711.jpg

Different kinds of tomatoes and peppers, a vine of string beans from Pinas... I also have lettuces, red radishes and at the far end some zucchinis.

100_1710.jpg

100_1709.jpg

More tomatoes... along with herbs like regular oregano, rosemary, greek oregano and parsley.

100_1705.jpg

A bit of our backyard... gotta keep up with the grass or it's going to be a jungle out here... We are next to a school of nursing so kung gusto kong mag aral, ililiban na lang ako ni David sa bakod, hehehe.

100_1726.jpg

Our rose trellis on the garage didn't bloom that much but it still looks pretty.

100_1715.jpg

Front deck po... tambayan namin ni David pag may thunderstorm or pag 4th of July kase we have a nice view of fireworks display on this side. Pati na rin po sunset. May bench kami here that swings.

100_1717.jpg

More rose trellis on every corner of the house.

100_1714.jpg

100_1719.jpg

100_1720.jpg

Ni-nenok ko isa sa mga roses, hehehe.

100_1700.jpg

We also have nectarines, plums, cherries, peaches and pears pero next time ko na sila post pag visible na fruits nila.

100_1718.jpg

Yung pond namin, meron po dung grape vines... hopefully this year e mapatay muna namin ang japanese beetle bugs bago lantakan ang aming grapes.

Hello mga ate, sali na nga ako. I got interested just by looking to all your pictures and discussions here.

Welcome to the thread Brettane. Minsan nga nago-offer pa sila na mag-take ng picture naming mag-asawa or family.

At the bowling alley with the nephews, in fairness maganda ang bowling alley natin sa pinas kesa dito sa lugar namin.

True talaga.

Pag gusto mo i-post dito, i-copy mo dito yung link. Meron pa sigurong makakapag-explain in detail, help naman.

Angel Saint, meron kang makikitang box sa bandang baba sa right side, box, tapos browse then upload.

Ako cguro mag aaral palang, last time kasi na nag garden ako nung highschool palang ako. hehe. God Bless!

Most of the time kase yung mga annuals pag tapos na time nila, wala ng pwedeng ipasok sa bahay. Geraniums are good, they can outlast the winter pag nasa loob sila ng house. Lahat ng natitira naming plants, puro indoor sila. Kaya tuloy mukhang jungle house namin during winter.

Our rose trellis are mostly 6-8 years old. You'll be surprise when they come back on spring... full-bloom talaga. Not much this year kase we had strong winds and blew most of the buds.

I got the talbos from ACE hardware for $3.00. Akala ni David I'm after the sweet potatoes which is the roots. Ini-explain ko sa kanya na I'm after the tops. We passed by a newly developed subdi and the main gate was adorned with yellow and red sweet potato vines for plants. As in ang lago talaga.

Thank you pow! Hehehe... I like to hang out by the pond kase may malalaking puno na naglililim dun so mahangin. Hahaha!
