Hello everyone...I am a bit perplexed and confused now re the AOS process. My husband has received his AP and EAD at the end of January 09 and we were waiting for the interview which I was told could be several more months (perhaps during the summer since we applied for AOS at the end of November). We never received notice for an interview however, last week he received his green card! Is this the process for it? When do we go for an interview? Or is that something we do before our 2 years is up? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Some AOS applicants, often from K1, are approved for a 2 year Green Card without an interview.

Congratulations!

You'll still need to remove conditions in 2011 for your 10 year card, and will have an interview then.
