Hello all,

My wife lives in Bislig, Philippines and I live in New Jersey. We just married there and are now preparing the I-130 visa forms. She will need to mail me the NSO certified marriage certiificates along with other paperwork. What is the best/fastes way fro her to mail me items and also for me to mail her paperwork or items?

Is there a UPS, FedX or equivalant there in Bislig that she can use?

Thanks for your help!

Steve

DHL, FEDEX... UPS is not famous here.

Anyway, re-read the I-130 package, i think it says there's no need to send the originals unless requested.

it might save you some money... anyway, she has to send you other documents once the process reaches NVC, so that'll save you some money.

Hi,

I would make copies of the NSO certified marriage cets to send, but as of now I only have the marriage certs from the local town hall where we were married, we did not get the NSO certified marriage certs yet; do they have to be NSOcertified certs or can you just send the uncertified cert? I think she has to sign the G-325a forms and send them to me anyway--is that correct?

Thanks much!

Steve

they require nso copy (yellow) but sometimes the city hall takes lots of time before sending out all marriage certs to NSO, so you can just go to the city hall and request a NSO certified copy (aka Security Paper.. blue color), this should do in the meantime.... you can request for NSO copy (yellow) to bring to the Embassy or for NVC purposes.

Good luck!
