MSV requesting aditional information regarding my greencard application

I had my biometrics in manchester, NH on thursday and yesterday i received 3 emails from USCIS telling me that a letter has been sent looking for additional information.

Is this normal.I doubled triple checked everything before i sent off the package. I can fully support myself here. It may be the affidavit of support. If so then thats crazy as we own a house in ireland thats worth 420k dollars and i have investments that are maturing next year.

My wife lived in reland for 2 and a half years so we only submitted 1 tax return.

The tile is meant to say MSC, stupid me put MSV. :crying:

It really could be anything, you'll just have sit tight for a bit until the letter arrives. It might even be for something you already sent and they lost.

I hope it's something relatively easy for you to respond to.

It can be a number of things....somtimes (like Stina said) they loose stuff. Just wait now, it only takes 3 or 4 days for the letter to get there. Let us know what they want! We are all curious now...(I guess...lol) :P

I got RFE for my birth certificate in original language (I got English one from Japanese consul...That's way I thought it was OK) Some people got RFE like this. Some people got medical, affidavit and something like this...

It sounds like that different category RFE sort to different color RFE letter...Mine was yellow, anyway.

I think it may have something to do with the medical certificate.I included all the documents i got when i did my medical in dublin in november of last year.I just find it insane that i may have to go to the doctor again when i spent 400 dollars for my medical in ireland.

I didnt fill out the additional form that a cival surgeon has to fill out. Its crazy its just one big money racket.

whenever i get email updates they either say from USCIS-CSSO or CRIS. But the emails are always the same. So i'm guessing they're the same thing?

I never received the rfe yet so i rang USCIS service center and they are sending out the letter again. The woman i was talking too was very nice.

I think all RFE's are yellow. Mine was for the Affidavit of support and it was Yellow...
