My wife just got the EAD card.

Now she will apply for the SSN.

The EAD expires at 3/31/10

My question is.

Will her SS card show an expiration date (3/31/10) stamped on the card?

If the answer it is YES, what has to be done to replace the SS card after the GC has been received?

No expiration date (SS Cards/Numbers don't expire) - instead will have the annotation "Valid for Work With DHS Authorization" on it (which means, for work, will have to show the EAD card). The annotation can be removed one the PR/Green Card comes.

look at your own card... is there an expiration date on it? SSN's are given for life

The only date that comes on the SSN card is the date it was issued. SSN cards do not expire.
