NVC Has received CHECKLIST Letter Response??????

I missed something in form ds-230 and I sent back missing document about 3 weeks ago so today I call NVC automated message and state: NVC Has received CHECKLIST Letter Response on 9 april 2009 and need 6 to 8 week to review what does that mean? why it's soooooo long?

probably its their generic response to everyone.. I paid the AOS bill on April 8,09 and the AVR for my case is "NVC has recieved your AOS fee and will generate I-864 within 6-8 weeks" I doubt it will take that long though since mostly people are getting their I-864s within couple of weeks after sending DS-3032 and AOS fee!

i

its not usually that long its just a msg thats set up and its says the same thing to everyone. Its basically means that NVC has recived the docs that were missing and those docs are under review right now...........you're case will get completed soon it wont take 6 to 8 weeks its gonna be done in a week from what i know from my experience.

I believe it's just a generic response that is sent out as well. I've been told some people have been approved within 5 days of NVC receiving their package. I'm not saying that yours will be approved within 5 days but just letting you know you can be approved any day now. If you haven't heard anything after 6-8 weeks then you should probably start worrying, but I'd call every once in a while just to stay up to date on where you are in the process.
