I called this morning and the message was updated from yesterday afternoon. I just went through my copy and I don't see anything wrong. The only thing I can think is 2008 tax information.

I called NVC prior to sending and explained my 2008 would be going on extension. I was told not to submit any 2008 information and that it would be fine.

I sent:

--transcripts for 2005, 2006, 2007

--note regarding 2008 extension (including name of NVC rep I spoke to)

--my 3/30/09 paystub that included year to date information (6x the required income level)

--Letter from my employer stating length of service, position, and salary

--I-864 (signed)

--barcoded cover sheet

Now I have to wait all weekend just wondering :crying:

Well, there is a chance it can be a false RFE.

Since you haven't sent your IV packet yet, it can be them asking for the DS-230. The only way you can find out and calling and talking to an operator. :)

False RFE??? the whole process is screwed up

The IV bill was generated (and paid) on 4/9 --- status changed to paid on 4/10 --- cover page printed and DS-230 FedEx'd for Monday delivery 4/10

Thanks for the hope

Well...What is that AVR saying? Please talk to a live operator...Do not rely on AVR...there are so many false cases...If the AVR saying " Received financial documents ... and missing biographic forms..." something like this- that means u need to send the DS 230 packet...if u have already sent it...wait couple of days and let the packet get entered into the system.....

ALWAYS SPEAK TO AN OPERATOR...AVOID AVR...............

Good Luck

We got the same type message and the RFE was for the IV fee which we have already paid online (and it shows - PAID). It seems that their system is slow to update. We sent the DS-230 Wednesday from Bogota by DHL and the tracking number shows it was received Friday morning at NVC. The AVR still has the RFE message. At USCIS our status never did update when our NOA-2s were received. I believe both agencies are having problems getting their systems to update correctly.

Yes, dont lose hope, your process is not screwed up. It happened the same thing to me, they gave me a RFE even with my IV packet already at NVC. Then I called and they said they were waiting for my DS-230, that what the RFE was about. But then the Ds230 entered into the system yesterday, and now Im waiting :)

Only start worrying after you talk to an operator.

The common False RFE!! If there is a 2-3 day lag between the I-864 being reviewed, and the DS-230 not being received by NVC, the checklist is auto generated.

Good Luck!!
