Notice to file I-751

Hello Everyone,

Just want to let you all know, that I got also a “notice of requirement to file joint petition to remove the conditional basis of an Alien’s permanent resident Status”

It came from the Vermont Service center yesterday. I remember that when I went to the Interview in 2007 I was told that they do not send notices and that I have to remember to file 90 days before my GC expires. I guess they changed there minds.

Here we go. Got most all my stuff together. Hope it will be enough.

Yes they changed their minds I agreed ! I was also told same thing when I had my interview for AOS but they sent out a reminder .Good luck,hope you have a speedy approval!

We received the same notification yesterday. In the past, they did not send the reminder. Maybe some common sense is being injected into USCIS! We'll be sending our I-751 on May 1, 2009.

We received the same notification yesterday. In the past, they did not send the reminder. Maybe some common sense is being injected into USCIS! We'll be sending our I-751 on May 1, 2009.

That's good to hear. I never received a reminder and had to remember to file I751. Maybe "The Change" has come to USCIS. Let's hope so! Good luck!
