Happy Caturday everyone. Not much going on here. Yesterday was my busy day. I took a risk on a new hair stylist and she did a great job. I wish I had known about her before.

I got accepted at the University I plan to attend in the fall and will be enrolling in classes next week. I'm looking forward to finishing my degree and going back to school. It will be a change of pace and necessary for the career track I plan on following.

Thanks and you too. I feel bad I haven't been around much, but I wanted to congratulate you on getting into the American University in Cairo. That will be great for you and something new and different. Glad you will finally be near your hubby again too.

Yes if all goes well many good things are coming for me! So what did you decide to finish your study in? It won't take you long will it with all your transfer credits?

I decided to major in History with a minor in political science and arabic. At least I'm hoping for the minor in Arabic as I have way more Arabic college credit than the University even offers so they may say I have to take their classes which I'm not repeating. They did accept all my transfer credits though, which totaled 70 hours putting me as a Junior. I'm considering going on for my masters as well since my ultimate goal would be to teach at the University. For now, I'm waiting to see if I got accepted in the honors college. I had to wait until I got accepted to the University itself first, then I could put in the application for the honors program. It required an essay. I'm praying they like it as I worked hard on it. Out of my hands now though.

As for you, I know I would be so excited if I could go to school there and be with the Hubby. You will have to let me know what you think of the University and the classes there.

Oh for sure I will do that! Waleed is getting me some kind of wireless internet package where ever I go in Egypt. That will be good for staying in touch. I plan to have adventures though so I may disappear at times. One of my first adventures is going to find these water falls he showed me!
