Do they deliver the visa the same day??

just wanted to knoe if the embassy delivers the visa the same day or you wait few weeks ? in my case I live in canada but Im a foreign student here would it make a difference?

Moved to US Embassy and Consulate forum as post regards visa delivery, which is dealt with at the consulate stage.

They will not deliver it the same day, it will take a few weeks.They delivered mine 4 weeks after my interview.But it depends in canada maybe its faster...

my interview was on a thursday..... my visa arrived in the mail on monday

It won't make any difference why your there, as for Canada it seems to be within a week but I would double check with more people that have gone through there. Some embassies are same day and others are two weeks +.
