How to post pictures on signature or thread posts

OK, i noticed a few ladies asking how to post pictures here. So i decided to put up this thread to help not just the few ladies but everybody. Here's how y'all will do it..

STEP 1.

Sign up in an image hosting site. Like Photobucket or TinyPic. I am using both but i most recommend Photobucket. Go to their website PHOTOBUCKET and click SIGN UP or JOIN NOW (green) button.

STEP 2.

Once you join/sign-up in Photobucket, choose the size of your image & click the CHOOSE FILES (blue) button to choose the files/images you want to upload. When you click the button a new window will pop up. You will use it (pop up window) to look for the file name/picture you want to upload.

Here's how the pop-up window will look like (below pic). If you do not know the file name of your picture change the view from List to THUMBNAILS, so you can see pictures instead of lists of file names.

STEP 4 (HOW TO PUT IMAGES ON YOUR SIGNATURE)

Once your picture is uploaded on Photobucket, go to your Personal Profile on VJ. Click Edit my Signature like on the image below.

Then, copy the DIRECT LINK of your image/picture on photobucket. Click the INSERT IMAGE icon on top of your edit signature window/page and paste the link on the pop-up window. Click OK. And finally click Update My Signature. Like on the image below and VIOLA! you will have pictures on your signature like mine.

**2 STEPS HOW TO DO COPY AND PASTE**

ONE

a. highlight the whole direct link

b. right click the mouse, then select copy

c. to paste the direct link, right click the mouse and select paste

TWO (Keyboard shortcut)

a. highlight the direct link CTRL+A (hold CTRL button)

b. CTRL+C (copy)

c. CTRL+V (paste)

when posting, highlight the link. you should see a Quick Access box to the left. click the Insert: Youtube. another box should open

insert youtube, click ok. you can preview post to see if it's ok...
