Today the unexpected happened. I received my Green card in the mail less than four months after filling. I never had an interview or anything, although I understand as my case was transferred to CA you don't always get one. Anyway, I've got it now and I'm certainly not complaining!

So what I'm trying to say is, keep faith everyone, it'll work out eventually!

PS It doesn't exactly come with many instructions, just a note saying you've been approved! I only got my EAD two weeks ago and now I'm not sure if I even need it anymore!

OUR TIMELINE:

Engaged: 6th June 2007

I-129F Sent : 13th December 2007

I-129F NOA1 : 17th December 2007

I-129F NOA2 : 11th March 2008

NVC Received : 17th March 2008

Packet 3 Received : 26th March 2008

Packet 3 Sent : 30th March 2008

Packet 4 Received : 7th April 2008

Medical Date: 24th April 2008

Interview Date : 6th May 2008

Visa Received : 7th May 2008

Entry to US: 25th October 2008 (Chicago, IL)

Wedding Date : 31st December 2008 (NYE!!!)

8/18/2003 Met JD and fell in love....

2/17/2009: Finally Married :) JD flew from China for me and got married in Rochester, NY!

2/19/2009: JD became an US citizen!!

4/17/2009: AOS package sent through USPS Priority Mail

4/19/2009: Package received.

6/5/2009: Fingerprint done

6/8/2009: RFE received asking for tax info and employment letter from sponsor

6/11/09: RFE response send out via USPS

6/17/09: case resumed.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
