Hi, i want to ask you guys a couple of questions. First of all i was searching online for cheap flights to Morocco. I try to avoid royal air maroc, it's expensive. When i came to the states in 2007 i came by the royal air, i payed about 1040 dollars for one trip, it was from agadir to arizona. Anyway the cheapest tickets i ve found are no less than 1400 $. So, does someone knows how to get a great deal? sometimes thereare ways to get the cheapest, so i want to know if you have any idea.

My second question, does any moroccan in here or someone who knows a moroccan who expended or renewed the passport via mail, Moroccan consulates are known by theirs bad service, i want to know if someone had an experience with the moroccan consulate in nyc.thank you all

Don't know about the Moroccan consulate but about the flights. If flying from California or around California you won't get a flight that's much cheaper than that. You are just going to have to fly during the low seasons and during the week. If you fly into Casa it is also a lot cheaper than say you wanted to land in Rabat.

Thank you sister for your reply, i'll have to land in Agadir , close to home. You re right about Casablanca is cheaper to go go, but it is far for my family to come pick me up, and i dont want to take a bus or train to marrakech and then my city, it will be hard for me and lost of time especialy if i will go just for 2 weeks. I was trying to find a way to go to europe then to morocco.

Anymore I wouldn't say any flight to Morocco would be cheap.

I fly into Casablanca, which is 2 hour train ride from Rabat.

I have paid in the upper $600s and as much as the upper $900s/.

I haven't been in a year though. I do travel Royal Air Maroc but thank God this year I dont have to stress

about finding a ticket, my husband has finally joined me here. Next year, 2010, we are looking to go in May.

If you must fly into Agadir, you'd probably be better off flying into the UK, and then flying a discount airline like RyanAir or Easy Jet. They have super cheap flights to the more tourist destinations in Morocco. I know for sure they fly into Marrakech (which would be a 4 hour bus ride to Agadir), and maybe even Agadir. You could also check with discount French and Spanish airlines, and see if you can get cheap tix through them, and then fly to France of Spain.

If you go the UK route, you might have to take a bus betwween UK airports, cuz Ryan Air only leaves from Luton.

Anyway, if you're willing to spend a little time on the trip, you might be able to save some money! Oh, and I forgot, the discount airlines have smaller luggage allowances.

Good luck!

You should also check to fly into Paris and then transfer to Orly and fly with Jet4u (jet4u.com)

We were having the exact same conversation last night (me and husband). We are flying to Agadir and looking for a cheap flight. The flights to Marrakesh are 400.00 cheaper than flying into Agadir. We thought about maybe taking a bus from Marrakesh to Agadir but I'm not too keen on that idea. We also considered flying to Casablanca and buying a ticket to Agadir using our frequent flyer cards.

As for the consultate my husband needs to renew his passport also and we are looking to do that via mail also as we do not want to travel to New York. I am actively searching for information. If I find out anything I will post.
