I thought it might nice to have a place to randomly gather little joys we find in our day (other than pets and children and SOs). Cheesy perhaps, but it's nice to share in the happy thoughts as well.

My Happy post today is the fact that I am at work right now in the office by myself...

ok no... no that's not it... the HAPPY part is that there are Easter chocolates in the kitchen here, as well as pizza and pop left over from a meeting we had on Wednesday. Yay free lunch, and CHOCOLATE!!

My wife and I just filed her Removal of Conditions on her permanent residence on Thursday so I'm soooo relieved that I won't have to worry about that anymore :)

Also I plan on surprising her with some extra effort on the new house this weekend so I should be happy as the nagging shall cease hahaha :)

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

oooo... ok ok, I have a good idea. So that this isn't just a repeat of the other good news thread, let's build on that comment and turn this thread into one that we can talk about little ways to make our SOs happy (without the obvious ... ahem... youknowwhatimeanlet'skeepthisPG... lol). :D Or things they have done for us.

As for me, since we're still in the long distance part of the process, my b/f and I mail little things back and forth to each other sometimes. For example, he mailed me a jar of his mom's homemade apricot jam... I brought some back to Canada with me after my last visit, but ran out. lol (L) That made me happy :)

Haha that reminds me of when I'd go over to my wife's every weekend (she was in Windsor, I am near Detroit) and her mom would always have a jar of garlic sweet pickles for me since they didn't sell the exact same kind in the States, soooo good. My wife would never have one and said they were allll mine Lol.

When I arrived home from Canada the other day, there was a card at the door that said "I Love you more today than I did yesterday" and then he wrote inside "welcome home sweetie" we were apart for 2 weeks. Which doesn't seem like alot when you've had an LD relationship, but once you're living together it is a long time!
