umm.. ells and kk we are a mess.. talking bout food .. my friends always say i should be in a food commercial they way i look like i enjoy my food LOL..

have fun newly.. girl u sound like me.. i do it big every chance i get cuz i know lock down come soon enough LOL..

We ARE a mess! I guess we could be called 'foodies' instead of 'yardies' the way we love it so!

I went to the park last Sunday to enjoy the sun & drum a little. During that time I couldn't hear my phone & when I finally got home, parked the car & started walking to my house, I saw 5 missed calls from mister. When I called back I said, "Hi honey" in a really happy way cause I'd just enjoyed my day outside and he answered in a gruff tone something like, "Oh honey me!!":rofl: I started laughing cause I couldn't help it with the way he said it....of course he wasn't as amused but came around once I convinced him I wasn't lying in bed all afternoon with my 'next boyfriend'. He's crazy but I love him! :luv:

yes the foodies LOL..

ells, roger had a stint where he would do that.. he would get real upset w/ me, cuz me and my phone have a LDR sometimes.. i don't keep it on me like i should... i lose it almost as much as sus's fiance..

so he would get on the phone after trying to reach me a couple of time and be sounding so SERIOUS.. we don't get vex. we just get SERIOUS and dry on the phone LOL i would call him back just ready to hear that voice and be laughing to myself..

a couple of times he called my cowrker who he knows from a JA trip and ask where i was LOL..

I need some advice

I know this has been talked about a million times before

but i am really struggling with the decision to do the K3 or CR1

for the K3 filers, what made you choose to go this route instead of CR1

and for the CR1 files, what made you choose this over K3?

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Bunz, in my opinion (and what I plan to do) is start out as K3 - It doesn't cost any extra to file the 129F when you file K3 - so I would file your I-130, then when you get your NOA1 the 129F - If your I=130 gets approved quickly, you can switch when it reaches NVC and process as a CR1 - if not, you can continue with the K3.

You can call me Kim...It just gets confusing with Kimmy and Jahlove being Kim too. So that's why on here most people use KK. But Kim is fine

Bunzarelli, I have file a K3 and the reason that I file a K3 rather than the CR1:

1. We have been married over a year and at the time of AOS, we would be award a 10 year GC , rather than a 2yr one with condition.

2. My husband already has a SS card, so we don't need to have an AOS done inorder to recv one.

3. We will just file for an EAD card, than wait to file AOS so we can qualitify for a 10 GC.

4. There is no time frame difference between a K3 or a CR1

I just tried to call the embassy w/the number that IW posted way back on pg 27 (or something like that) & reached someone who then told me to call the main number ((876) 702-6000) and ask for the 'visa section'. Well, it was all automated prompts and once I finally got to the NIV press '2' part, it had a recording stating that most information you are seeking is on our website at blah blah blah...then it said, 'goodbye' and disconnected but still kept me connected so I finally hung up after a half minute. WTH??!? I'm just trying to find out that the DS-230 was received & at least in process & can't get through. This is the kinda stuff that makes this process frustrating! The waiting isn't so hard for me, it's the NOT KNOWING! If I knew without a doubt that they received the proper form and it didn't get lost or something, I'd be able to just relax and wait patiently.

I was remembering that I wanted to state that I think Jamerican SHOULD go for it and move there. It might be the hardest thing she's ever done but even if it is, it will be the most educational experience. It's not like she's planning on staying....she just wants to give it a try and why not? Just my likkle 2 cents dere!

Jawi, true what you say about these little girls prancing around on-line. I think I'd be VERY protective no matter what but even more so with a girl! And there aren't going to be any tiny shorts or tops because guess what? I'm not buying them! If my daughter wants to get a part-time job and buy her own hoochie clothes, well, we're still gonna have a talk but she certainly won't be wearing stuff like that off of my dime!

And that's funny that you shocked your son straight with the shirt thing!

Thank you for your support....was beginning to feel many people here were drinking a likkle to heavy out of the HATERAID punch bowl!! Its one thing to voice your opinion about something....another thing to make assumptions on how things will or won't turn out. It is a well thought out decision and feel no need to put ALL the info on FRONT PAGE on where, when or how everything is being set up to acheive a successful move. Again I'll say, I appreciate the concern for my safety but please lets not use it as an excuse to be mean or haters!

Jamerican - I seriously doubt anyone was drinking hateraid or being mean to you. People gave you advice who lived there. Most importantly - I got the impression people were warning about the violence. When I thinking about working in Kingston..I got good and bad advice...mostly bad...it's a tougher decision when you involve a child. At the end of the day it's your decision.

Justica...it appears that you are not alone in not receiving the paper NOA2 from CSC:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=191974

It appears that they are approving and moving files so fast that they are not ensuring the required docs are sent. This may help you get around the replacement fee if you can use the info right or get it to the right person (people).:star:

I meant to tell Justica to be patient. It took forever (months) for us to get our NOA1 when we lifted conditions. Then one day, we received a duplicate copy but never received the orginial .
