Happy anniversary to KCOYCLAY

thanks Shem

Kimmy, i tried to check out venues in JA, but trying to truck all them rass kids around got to be a bit much, we took a pic of me and MOMTO2 and her twins and my boys and dwaynes daughter all in one cab it was like 8 people in one car, we looked like a circus car...it was so funny.

yall easter night was something.. people everywhere.. we were gonna go to a concert in Priory with Beenie Man and allison Hinds and some more folks it was only like 1500JA, but instead we went to Priory Beach which was FREE, it was packed.. we had a good trip..i am very pleased. I think D's daughter had a little crush on my oldest son she stuck to him like glue and called his name every 5 secs, but she did tell him your mom is gonna be my mom and my dad is gonna be your dad so your gonna be my big brother  then he proceeded to teach her american dances and she taught him how to do the gully creepa and nuh linga and something else. It was good to see, we had a really good time.

Sweet. i may try it though im going back to Ja in July, the second thru the 6th, it will be a quick trip.

Kimmy, your friend never emailed me back, the wedding planner. ANyhoo i want the 14th but may make the wedding on the 16th so it will be more practical for people who are traveling to be there. My mom has said she will come, and im excited and happy but now that we have actually set it in motion i find myself suddenly overwhelmed.

I went to one wedding planner in Ochi and she was way overpriced, but i couldnt locate the lady i was looking for thru Tropical weddings.

That's a good week. Some people might be off for Columbus Day on the 12th... (cough cough) To bad your not getting married in Pittsburgh that's what I do. I'm a wedding planner...

Hey Honey...for all the Yardies the wedding is June 27th at 11:00am here in St Louis. If anyone wants to come you are all more than welcome!

The drive from Detroit to St. Louis is about 8 hours.

Oh, I want to go!!!!!

 Save the date!

On my calendar!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

sus, any and all help is appreciated trust me. If i could find a venue and book on my own and then come in a day or two early and decorate, hell i dont need all that the wedding planner is offering. Shoot i will be ghetto with it, burn me a CD have one of D's friends be the selecta...shoot, grab up some dollar store accessories a few ribbons here, and there, a cake, a few friends and fam and we would be all good, but i just dont know how its possible. ALso with D, i would need to give him a list of things i need done on his end and would have to trust that he would do them.

Renewing your vows is reafirming your commitment, so why do you feel the need to say the vows again so soo. I would think when you made it on day one, the vows are supposed to be affirmed for life. So, why so soon?

Our plan is to do our wedding in JA our way, and then either do a renewal of vows or just a big party here later on, so that people who didn't attend in JA will be there. Reality is, I can't picture doing the renewal of vows, mainly cause I can't picture my wedding here without my Dad - so I am leaning towards the big party.

KK - do some research on the internet on vow renewal ceremonies. You are not getting married nor do you have say wedding vows again. It's your day so do whatever you want. I found some good info but they are at work. Let me know if you want me to share.

I want to renew ours on our 5th anniversary next January. I think we may have anniversary party now because I know my family and friends may not be able to travel to JA right after Christmas and we're renew sometime in the future but not on our actually anniversary date.

On VJ being married more than a year is HUGE in my book - especially with the visa process, merging two cultures and families together, age difference, etc.

I hope u feel that with all ur babies :)

I do but Da and I have been through A LOT together and for him to be so young he appreciates me so much and he is soo protective. Ha when we were in JA he wasn't used to how the men treat you. You know how some of the Jamaican men can be a little bold with their passes and I'm used to it so I ignore it. Well after a while Da was standing in front of me when we were walking down the hip strip. Every time someone tried to speak he was like no keep walking keep moving. I had to lick him like Da stop it don't be rude. He didn't care...lol

i understand...how old is he?

12 going on 20.. He's trying the GF thing on me already. No sir not yet. I feel for my son's GF I'll be the mother n law you all will be talking about....
