Dear Sistren........back from yard late last night, and eating some smuggled mango right now...yum.

So, bad news for me and my sweetie, we had to cancel his interview due to health problems and believe me, you would never want your worst enemy to end up in a hospital in Jamaica! it's been a nightmare! we are waiting now for a new medical report and don't know what that will say...NO one tells you anything there (unless you can afford to pay!). We couldn't even get his medical record from the hospitalization till we went 5 times, paid twice (2 different clerks) and he still doesn't have them. I've asked per email 3 times now for a new date, but no response as yet and at the Mobay Hope, they won't tell you any results either, so........i came back home alone, and it breaks my heart to not be there continuing to care for him, altho he is feeling fine and seems strong (certainly in the bed!).

i can only hope now that his health is improving and they will give him his clearance and a new date comes soon (altho i can't return for it).........and i ask all of you to pray that my journey ends up happy......

Will spend more time catching up on everyone lata.........need some sleep, unpack, nuff eyewata :crying: bless, culture1

Oh Culture :(

Culture- So sorry to hear you are having to go through this on top of this already frustrating process. I'm glad your SO is feeling better. I'm praying that continues and you get another interview soon.

My2- That dress is pretty. I like how it gathers across the front.

Lovesponge- Are you getting married in Orlando? Are you having it outside?

Happy Hump Day Yardies!!!

Dada Hush yuh mouth! yuh knoa yuh going

Did you see Charm School last night?

Girl yuh knoa I did.... This Charm School so far is by far the worse did you see how everyone started leaving and then I see next week they give Ricki a hard time about her decision. Now they want to make it racial. Ricki didn’t get rid of her because she is black its because she is a loud bully and a trouble maker. I mean don’t get me wrong bubbles is not the brightest apple in the bunch and she is a donut short if a dozen but she still is human and they have no right treating her like that. I mean Kiki or whatever her name was is forever screaming at someone as if she is there mother and the more I look at Bay Bay Bay I'm glad Real didn’t pick her she is too much too.

dada.. mi bored ta rass.. wha ya deal wid??

wha gwann wid Roc's bwan day celebration????

wha gwaan ja princess... congrats on filing!! returning to ja anytime this summer??

My2 – this dress is really nice. I like this style. I actually have something picked out very similar.

Need a little help, anyone transfer at ATL, Newark or North Carolina to connect to Jamaica (good/bad) experiences. Thanks

Tre--

Morning Lawny (F)

I say go Charlotte North Carolina...

ATL is HUGE and somewhat confusing  there are trains in between terminals and getting on the right one is a challenge. If your connection is not long enough you will be stressing!!

I have never done Newark before so no opinion there, but North Carolina was a breeze

I transfer in Charlotte NC all the time. Coming from Pittsburgh they let me off at gate A and I have to get the plane at Gate D so it’s a mack. I normally have enough time to get there though it’s nothing like Miami. Now IF I go Sunday I'll only have 35 minutes so that will be pushing it I normally have an hour but we shall see. My co-worker did it in April and she said it wasn’t too bad. I already showed her the ropes in Feb but she said there was no time to stop at the duty free store (boo) she had to get right over there and when she did they were already starting to load but at least she didn’t get the dreaded page I always get when I go through Miami.

LOST!! :help: Where is hubby???

Girl... don't worry... the silver lining in this cloud is that HE is HERE! Did you already make the appointment??

Girl Yes they told me LOST :wow: , ####### so basically he is home right now without any proper identification except his Jamaican passport and national ID. I had such a headache from all of that yesterday I swear. I am making the appointment now, they have slots available for next week.

I know when my fiance get here im not going to want to go to work and leave him... but i know i wont have to come home and do all that i do now cause he is a great help around the house ..

Hey My2

LOL I go through the same thing never wanting to get out of the bed in the morning and just cuddle LOL but I know I have to get my but up! I will say My Hubby is very good about keeping the house straight but I have to tell him to low the housework because the boys are taking advantage and not do their daily chores so I had to handle that! Boys are a pain in the A$$~!

Hey Trelawny,

I once transferred in North Carolina years ago I think it was a United flight, but it was cool no issues at all smooth transfer.

Girl yuh knoa I did.... This Charm School so far is by far the worse did you see how everyone started leaving and then I see next week they give Ricki a hard time about her decision. Okay but how about the Blontarage and taking showers together to conserve water???? ####### they are just nuts
