Thanks Tre!! I know his one favorite thing to do is messing w/ his car and the radio... so I've given him places that have all of that stuff (radios, speakers, etc) to visit. I took him to a bazaar...OMG! He was in Heaven!!

J2A-Did your SO need any transcripts or HS Diploma?? And my car is standard... I hate it, but he loves it! Also, I would love to SS cards... I'd treat the 2nd one like GOLD knowing what I know now.

Hopefully they won't change the rules by the times he gets here but so far, no. Some of the Community Colleges in our area say that once you reach a certain age you do not really need transcripts or a HS Diploma for the Adult Learning degree programs, you just have to complete the application along with a personal statement and include your non-refundable fee. For General Studies they also have Special Admissions where if you do not have a HS Diploma or equivalent, you can take the basic entrance exams (Math and Reading) to test out of the remedial courses or take their prep courses (for which you don't receive credit.) If you successfully complete either of these, they'll give you the status so you can matriculate towards your degree without it. For this you have to schedule an interview, complete a non-graduate petition, and submit an application along with the non-refundable fee.

Believe it or not, 100s and 1000s of people hook up at work and at the mall!!

When I first moved to London from Jamaica, the loneliness was awful. Didn't have any friends and had just my grandparents around me. And they ate different food, had a totally different culture. Yes, they tried to make adjustments but it wasn't enough.

Then I started using sites like Jamaicans.com, jamaica-netlink.com etc.

Was I there to meet someone?? Hell no!!

At that time, I was actually in a long distance relationship with my ex in Jamaica, so my aim was to just to talk to fellow Jamaicans.

Now, I am not saying lock your men in a room with 70 naked virgins, I am saying let the man go talk to FELLOW Jamaicans, people who may be going through the same thing as him.

YES, he may meet women, but hell every time he walks out of the house he will meet women!!

And wedding ring or not, they'll throw themselves at just for the accent alone!

Do any of you women use Facebook? Or Hi5??

I'm sure you do. Do you go on there and hook up with men behind your SO's back??? I'm sure you don't so why should he??

Don't trust your man, and he will become untrustworthy.

In Mr Buggy's defense, I can say I have 4 GOOD males friends that I've known since I was 11 -15. And when I was in England on my own, they called me day and night. When times were rough they called me day and night.

When I moved here and sat home for a year, they called me day and night. And I thank God for my husband, because he never had a problem with it. Yes, a few of my female friends called too, but my best male friend lives in NY, and he'd call me really often because he sits at work doing nothing. Never ever EVER would I cheat on my husband, and he knows that.

Before you decide to take a man as your husband and spend the rest of your life with him, you have to KNOW he'll honor and respect you.

A cheater will always cheat. A decent man will not cheat, he'll leave.

If your man goes online and in the space of a few months goes and hooks up with someone, he was always a cheater - you just didn't know it.

And if it wasn't online, it would be somewhere else.

As far as him using social networks, I wouldn't mind since I do. Shoot, he'd probably have me by his side when he was ready to use it to help him navigate through the site! And you're right, if a man is a cheater... he doesn't need the internet!

Good Morning

Just got back from my Interview and it went well. The IO was ok, not too serious. He asked us so many questions I dont even remember half of them. At the end he said his supervisor had to review my case , but everything looked good. He also said it takes up to 180 days for answer but he was gonna ask his supervisor to review it today , so I should get a reply in a few weeks .

I am just hoping for the best, I really am just happy the interview is done with

Hey ladies this is derron mrsbuggy's hubby and i just wanna have alittle input on how yall ladies think.

First, let me clear myself, i only have 2 female friends calling and my son's mother calling and even so she have spoken with 1 of them (not all d time) and i never remove myself from her presence during a call unless i must.

Now for d big topic alllll of u ladies need 2 b careful of how u apply the experiences of other relationships to urs. Ex: whenever my wife n i talk on d phone she use to always bug me of the things that she read on here, everyday she would have something to tell me and then she would compare me to it n sometimes it would develope an argument between us and i used to tell her she needs to get off that site cauz it's gonna cost us our relationship, luckly it didn't.

*Did she tell u guys that i'm an electrician by trade so it's always wise to save power.*

As for my adjustment i kno it is a phase i have to go through but it is boring as hell n 2 make it worst i do not have any friends or family nearby, my best part of the days are when she's home and i have someone to talk to and play with. ther is no perfect relationship, she has OCS n that's something i'm willing to deal with but we r working on it Lol.

Do you know if the state that you are now livivng in require a license to be an electrician? Have you checked out the International Electrican Union there in your state yet? If you have to take the exam for that state now would be a good time to get the material and study for it. Also, I would venture down to the Elec. Union Hall and introduce myself, so when I start applying for jobs, I would have some contacts already in place.

Also, I would get a map and study the area, because when and if they assign me on a job the very first day, I would be ready to venture to that location without hesitation. You sound like a very wise man, so I know you may have already thought about some of this stuff.

BY the way.... chicken in every country taste like chicke, so I would aleat allow my wife to have one day that we can enjoy some of her down home country cooking.

Been logged in since morning and just had a chance to chime in! I called the USCIS about the Green Card and the rep kept telling me we were approved in October of last year Ummm Ya think? That is why I am calling you about the Green Card! So I asked for my issue to be escalated and the next Rep was the immigration Nazi who was getting upset because I needed to conference my Husband in on the call as he wasn't physically in my presence. Please tell me what difference does that make that I am not staring him in the face while we are speaking to her ????? Needless to say I was annoyed so I politely disconnected the call. I'm going to call back now with him already on the line so we can find out what is going on. For all of the $ we spent on this process the service is no where in the comparison to the cost! It should be 19.99 buy one get one free

Hi all..i'll put in my two cents about the "social networking"...I helped my hubby signup for hi5 and facebook...i have a facebook but am never on it...he barely looks at them but he uses them cause his sister from jamaica is on facebook so they communicate using that and on hi5 his brother from Canada uses that and he seen some other people that he knows from his district on hi5 as well that he will say hi to once in a while...some of the friends he saw are old girlfriends or girls that use to like him from back home...to me it doesn't bother me cause like Jaenglish said I believe if he loves me he will not cheat if he chooses to cheat then he never loved me to begin with...yeah temptation is out there and you might feel if you never introduced it to him he will never had strayed...but if he wanted to cheat he would have done it regardless if he was on the "social networking" sites...I trust my husband 100% and if he does me dirty oh well...i'll move on...not like i haven't before...

dont feel unlucky w/ the ssn, its normal for it to take up to 8 weeks at times cuz of all the verification we do w/ DHS.. some are handled shorter times, some longer.. unfortunately u never can tell..

i won't comment too much on ur feeling, cuz they are urs, we can't help the way things make us feel. i know it can be intimidating when ur SO has alot of female friends, but chica he love you! and chose u and until he give u a reason not to, just try to trust..

in my own life, i totally agree w/ jaeng,..temptation is everywhere.. and the ladies ain't scared.. let me tell ya, i went out w/ a friend of mine and her man, and this chic had the waiter send over her number KNOWING he was w/ someone.. they will get them at work, at the grocery store.. if mi man cyaan be a big man and know when to RUN away from a sticky situation then we have to make some adjustments cuz i cant be worried bout him all the time..

I LOVE facebook, and would just die if roger wanted me to give it up.. but if U AND MR come together and agree to limit online activity, then ya'll do that.. just continue to talk about everything like u guys are doing!!
