Sorry I didn't get back to you on this....as I mentioned above, had my window open but was not actually 'present'. Went to my Dr. appt., came back to catch up and saw this AND that you've already sent it. I think that was definitely the right address though. (Now I don't have to go check the guides for you. )

J2A: I'm going to need to remind him to study for his DL test. I printed out the manual for him so he has no excuses. And OCS... it NEEDS to be diagnosed by someone and I need to be medicated! It is no joke. (You too Ells) It is so different when you're married, cuz you know, you really have to compromise and share then!

Ells: How is mister going to school? What school documents would he need?? I need to tell Derron to get those. He wants to go to school but since we're still waiting on his SS, we have just narrowed down the school and the subjects he will take. Not thinking he needs stuff to even apply. I dropped the ball on this one!

He is VERY picky. So far he likes Mexican food but it has to be authentic not anything like On The Border or Taco Bell stuff. That's my fault cuz my parents took us out to eat and he loved the food. But they live close to the Mexico border! He says he's game for trying, but then he sees it and then says he don't like it!

Yep, I'll be compromising my a$$ off I'm sure! But at least I know I'm not alone!

Well, I didn't even think about the 'how' of how he's going to go to school. He'll be doing some 'catch up' programs so I was thinking there might not be as much red tape for that part. I guess I'll have to see now how it's going to work.

Oh my goodness....did you ask him how he doesn't like something he hasn't even tried?? I think my mister will be pretty open to trying new things but if there's anything with onion in it, I'm gonna have to try and sneak it in.

On form DS 157 question 17 asks for all educational institutions attended. It says "Include vocational institutions but not elementary schools". I'm confused. Do they just mean college and I just leave it blank or do I need to list my SO's middle and high school? If I don't put anything then do I put "none"?

Good afternoon Yardies! I hope everyone is having as good of a Monday as can be expected. It's raining in Orlando and that brings my mood down.

I'm not sure how to answer that question since my mister didn't finish high school. I left it blank and figured we can explain that later. I'm sure they've seen similar situations enough times.

No I don't think so... I even think CW is thinking of doing away with the show which is really pissing me off. Well Kelly has kicked Jason out and told him she wants a divorce. Jason has tried to do everything to get back with her but Kelly wouldn’t budge. Well she ended up dating some ugly body builder to make Jason mad and when she tried to break it off with him he tried to rough her up. Well the daughter called Jason and he came over and beat his rass but the guy pressed charges on Jason so he went to jail. Well Kelly was there for him for the couple of days and when he got out she was so happy and went to hug and kiss him but at the door was Jason’s new boo Camille waiting for him he told Kelly thanks for all she has done and went to his new boo’s awaiting arms. Kelly's face was CRACKED!!! Oh and Derwin and Mel finally got married.....

I asked what site was it and it turned out to be some "meet new people" website (that's what he called it)... but it was one of those dating websites. I freaked out on him. Needless to say, he didn't finish signing up and we talked about it when I got home. He understood how I felt and he was ok w/ it.

Umm I never thought of making American dishes. I guess that is because I'm always having Roc making Jamaican dishes so I can find something I like. I guess I'm like them there are A lot of dishes so far Roc has made that I have not been that found of nor will I try. I don't know why but I guess in a way I'm picky. Not picky enough to be thin but picky where I wont try a lot of foods I'm not used to. Even when we stayed at the resort my brother was pushing me like try it Dara if you don't like it its fine shoot you already paid for it but I could not try it. Like so far I'm not a fan of bambi, dumpling, boiled banana, yam, ackee and saltfish, and peas. I dislike the resorts version of hamburgers and hot dogs.To be truthful so far I only like the different fruits, steamed fish (as long as Roc takes the head off first) brown stew chicken, curry chicken and KFC..lol. I'm not fond of beef patties I love the crust but not the inside oh but my all time favorite is Festival. Now I just love those likkle things. So I guess if I was to move there I would have a problem.

OMG! I love ackee & saltfish, breadfruit, steamed fish w/ all its glory!! LOL But I'll eat alot of foods, I am not picky at all.

Uuhhh....YEAH!! I'd be freaking out on my man too if he came to me with that! In situations like that, I like to turn the tables since it usually does the trick. I'd say something like, "okay then, how about if I sign up to 'meet some new people' too and if I get a bunch of male friends on the site you won't mind then, right???" That's usually enough to make the other person 'get it'.

I'm like you Mrs Buggy.....I LOVE anything....not picky at all!

MrsBuggy - your husband's adjustment sounds like mine except the food. We had no problems in that area. I'm an only child too. And I've been a single mother for years before I met Damien so it's still a struggle for me. So used to running the show...it's hard. The money issue is funny cuz Damien is the same way but that's great in my book. The things you are experiencing are pretty common. Good luck to you. We are here for you.

And I've been a single mother for years before I met Damien so it's still a struggle for me. So used to running the show...it's hard. i know all the things your are talking about i see myself going through the only thing is im not a only child ... but being single mom and been running the show by myself for the last 7 yrs so adjusted to someone eveyday is going to be alot of adjustment

As far as the food I normally only eat Yard food so that wasn't a big change and we even have Haitian vs. Jamaica cook offs LOL so far we are even! He has fallen in love with the Philly Cheese steak though and likes all types of food and he is not picky. Although he hates grits I love Indian food and he has never had it, so we plan to hit the restaurant ( when I am off my diet) LOL. He actually requested me to make Spaghetti last night which he calls macaroni so I did, and he called me earlier and was eating the left overs and wants to know when I can make that again ( which will be never since I am on this diet) ha ha.

LoL, A keeps calling it this. I made this Clam Linguine for him once and he loved it but he keeps asking when I'm going to make that macaroni again. I keep forgetting this is what he calls it and so I'm like what are you talking about, I never baked macaroni and cheese for you, but dont' worry it's on the list.

Hey ladies this is derron mrsbuggy's hubby and i just wanna have alittle input on how yall ladies think.

First, let me clear myself, i only have 2 female friends calling and my son's mother calling and even so she have spoken with 1 of them (not all d time) and i never remove myself from her presence during a call unless i must.

Now for d big topic alllll of u ladies need 2 b careful of how u apply the experiences of other relationships to urs. Ex: whenever my wife n i talk on d phone she use to always bug me of the things that she read on here, everyday she would have something to tell me and then she would compare me to it n sometimes it would develope an argument between us and i used to tell her she needs to get off that site cauz it's gonna cost us our relationship, luckly it didn't.

*Did she tell u guys that i'm an electrician by trade so it's always wise to save power.*

As for my adjustment i kno it is a phase i have to go through but it is boring as hell n 2 make it worst i do not have any friends or family nearby, my best part of the days are when she's home and i have someone to talk to and play with. ther is no perfect relationship, she has OCS n that's something i'm willing to deal with but we r working on it Lol.

Thanks Shemmy! I pray that the "adjustment" period last only a short time. I'm sure things will get better once he gets his SS card and starts working... from there he can start "networking" LOL
