Yes, he's back. lol He came back on the 4th. We are going back to Miami on the 25th for a week. I guess this is the closest I can get to Jamaica until his papers come through.

Sunray be ready you know that is Urban Beach week so on the 25th is going to be PACKED!!!!! Man I loved Urban Beach week still wish I was young enough to go...

There's an age limit?

Well girl normally at Urban Beach Week its the youngens.. The typical age is 18-25. The under 21 crowd is normally in full force because you can stand out on the street and drink you don’t have to go in the club because the parties are mainly on the street. Its packed street to street and you rent cars and ride up and down the street and well last time I went we were at the club and we were up on the tables and couches dancing all crazy and having a ball. I think now if I get up on the table and danced all crazy I would be looked at like oooooooookkkkkkkk she’s having a mid life crisis!!!!

Those were the days walking up and down and up and down the strip in your swim suit during the day and hottest gear at night.. The guys lined the walls and the girls walked the runway. If a guy was interested in you he would grab your wrist. If you liked him too you moved over to chat (you can stop the runway flow and cause a traffic jam) and if you weren’t interested you pulled your wrist back. It was also the thing to take pictures you would ask anyone can I take a pic with you it was also the going thing... O.k. thanks T now you have me going down memory lane....

I'm too old for all that now. I'll leave that to the kiddies. lol I'll be busy laying out and drinking. I need a tan soooo freakin bad.

That's why I said I'm too old for this now but I had the best time at this event. I did it twice!!!

I always I eat the same and lose weight too when I go. I think its the food. Its not saturated with all the grease and fats we have here in the states. Its fresh and normally stewed or steamed and its normally chicken or fish plus they eat so many vegetables.... Its funny here in the states I'm used to eating a meat veggie and starch. There I eat meat, veggie, veggie and more veggies and no bread is normally served with it.

I have the opposite experience. I eat WAAAAY more starches in Jamaica than I do here. Cause there, breakfast comes with fried bammy (my FAVORITE!) and all the other meals come with a ton of rice & peas. In the states, I try to avoid bread, rice, etc (key word = try). I do tend to lose in Jamaica IF I don't rent a car. This trip, my cousin and I are gonna split the cost of a car, so I already know I won't lose a thing.

I told you I'm starting a club like AAA (Alcoholics Anonymous) but its called ATJ. Addicted to Jamaican/Jamaica. So you can be my first member.. So newly stand up introduce yourself and admit your addiction... LOL

Can we have an AVJ (Addicted to VJ) or an AYT (Addicted to the Yardies Thread) too. Introduction: I’m J2 and I’m uh…uhmmm, addicted to the VJ website, particularly the yardies thread. I knew I was addicted when I lost my job because I couldn’t stop visiting this unauthorized site. I would read for hours and sometimes chat but often would break out into uncontrollable laughter for which no one else around knew the reason why. I don’t want to do my work and the ladies on the site are the only thing that makes my days go by faster. When I don’t check in I feel lost and…and…(crying)…and I don’t know what I would do without them. They’re my friends, but no one can see them.

Hello my name is Newly and yes I am a VJ yardie thread addict! I knew I was an addict when I added the internet to my phone plan just so I can have access to VJ, I also knew VJ was becoming a problem when I developed CRD (COMPLUSIVE REFRESHING DISORDER) I have frequent laughter outburst along with severe sympathy and concern for people I have never met… in the early stages I would stay late at work collecting unauthorized overtime chatting on VJ I can now say I leave work on time and is battling this disease one step at a time... thank you for letting me share

LOL Jawi you crack me up. He made it in safely but she said the traffic was awful on the trip back home and didn't get in until about 8:30!

C leaves tomorrow to go to NYC to see his Mom until the 27th. I will miss him but I am so excited he will get to see his Mom, he hasn't seen her in a long time.
