So i was thinking of taking my computer and webcam to the wedding and doing a webcast of the wedding for those that cant be there. Does anyone know how to do that? If I talk on the webcam I use skype...that is about all I know.

I can help you with that dillon. Can talk details in person. I also have access to a projection screen if you need that also. I don't charge much and will take food stamps.lol

Work was boring & my gums hurt, so I took a break & went to the party supply store across the street.

I got balloons, crinkly paper to make streamers, candles that spell "STEVEN", plastic harmonicas, and a variety of other plastic noisemakers. Oh, and one of those big HAPPY BIRTHDAY things you hang on the wall. I plan to bring tape, too. I think that's all I'll need, other than the cake & beverages.

I thought about paper plates & cups, but don't have enough room in my carry-on for that. Plus it'll make him suspicious.

I feel bad sharing my good news when so many are still waiting, and for so long (Nat). However I want to tell everyone how I got my interview date in the hopes it helps others speed things up. My interview date is June 15 (my birthday!!)

I emailed consularkingst@state.gov a week after dropping off the DS 230 and told them my SO never recived packet 3 and that I was worried he would never get packet 4 and we wouldn't know when the interview date was, or have enough time to schedule his medical. The next day they emailed me back packet 3 and 4 and told me the interview date. (Thanks Lovesponge for helping me with this!!) I know a lot of your SO's aren't getting the packets. I'm so thankful to all of you and especially IslandWoman for emailing me packet 3 or else i'd still be waiting for my SO to get paket 3. So I just wanted to let you all know that I think it's best to just email right away and not wait around for the mail.

I realize many of you may already know this, but just incase someone didn't I thought it was worth posting.

It seems the only way one can be guaranteed to receive either 3 or 4 is to just have the embassy e-mail them as attachments. In some of the more 'metro' areas, the mail service is probably somewhat better than out in country. Cause I know my mister didn't receive anything and it will probably never arrive.

The medical was fine. He is done and is home now. If anyone uses Mobay in the future, hit me up for some advice. It was pretty smooth but there was one little thing I'm not allowed to talk about until we are 'in the clear'. I'm sure some of you already know or can guess. PM me if you're dying to know and can be sworn to secrecy. Nothing to do with the procedure or anything. All of that went as it was supposed to. They asked if he had ever smoked and he answered, "no" and then they tested his breath to make sure he wasn't a 'smoker' with weak lungs. He didn't like when they drew blood for the HIV test, wasn't too excited about them messing with his junk to check him out (LOL!) but admitted that the vaccinations weren't as bad as he was worried about. Now he has to go back on the 22nd to pick up the results.

I did, it took some fussing to get packet 4. A few weeks before the interview, my husband had received three packet 4 and I received 3 here in the states. Most, it not all of the forms are available online (EXCEPT) the interview letter.

Did anyone go with their SO to the medical? I was a planning a trip to be there before I even knew the medical date. I'm wondering if I can wait with him or if I'm not even allowed in?
