I am so proud of you and your tenacity. I want to go back to school for Corporate Law, but I find it so daunting since I never got my first degree. I also really really really detest writing essays/research papers/thesis. I rarely did them and could have had straight As...but I was okay with getting a B in my English classes simply because I refused to do the papers. I never understood the purpose of doing a research paper on something that was already documented in published works and then adding points of reference to avoid plagerism...why not just let you read all the works out there on the subject. LOL

Ladies I am beat with this new position is working a Sistah out trust me! Don't get me wrong I am so happy and blessed for the opportunity but I am putting in longer hours and even working from home (and in the supermarket LOL) into the hours of the night and I feel so bad because I think I am neglecting my Hubby. He of course is so supportive and understands that my job is important but me and us a family but as a I Wife feel extremely guilty. I am going to try and optimize my time a bit more and leave work at 5:30 and but I will still have to bring work home because that is the nature of my position and I am always on call, so there still is an issue that I have to be available. I also have to add into the equation that I'm embarking on obtaining my CCNA Cisco Networking Certification. Okay Ladies I guess I am just venting, I am work through it I have been through worse challenges before.

Hey Philly well what can you do you have to work. I'm sure the hubby will be o.k. just try your best to maybe take one day out of the week that you'll do nothing for your job but be on call. For instance maybe Sat evenings or Sunday afternoons you can dedicate to just paying attention to your family at least for a couple of hours. As women you know we have to wear may different hats and its not like your sleeping all day your trying to make a living and further your career. Stop worrying!!! Just try to keep up your strength up so you won’t feel or get run done and take one day at a time. I know it’s easier said than done but you can do it!!!!

Yeah. But would you believe this coincidence: Sometime last year, the company stopped paying for us to have food & drinks at meetings due to budget cuts. There is a team this week meeting on our floor that somehow got management approval for catering. EVERYDAY there are tons of leftovers in the kitchen... this is for the first time in like a year! And I can't eat it!!! I'm still on soft foods only.

I refuse to identify myself as African American. I will check Black, but I am not African American

.....and Lisa's still in court with a custody fight with her ex Teddy Riley. She wants their two sons to be able to appear on the show (Housewives Atlanta) with her but he does not...and Kim is dating Lindsey Lohan's father. I LOVE REALITY TV!
