Jawi, dress 1.

I've heard too many guys talk about how much they hate the babydoll style dresses (with empire waists) cause it disguises the figure too much.

but Nat, isn't the first dress also considered a baby doll style?

It does have a higher waistline, but it's still fitted to show off a figure. The second one is voluminous. It's pretty, but I doubt men would find it as sexy as the first.

The 2nd one gives me the image of Ja..like the airiness if it...I can picture Jawi on a cliff with the ocean as her background and the wind blowin' sayin her vows...

all the talks of dresses has me wanting to go get mine

I got mine, I wanted to cry when I put it on :yes: But it was kind of $ :blush:

that's the best kind..especially if you love it!

yeah when i put it on it felt like it was made for me ...

thats exactly how i felt, and they dressed me up made me look like a princess(Davids Bridal dont go there if you are on a budget)

Go for it! If you love it...no other dress will compare. I was really upset about my current dress because I love it. But, I'm in love with this last dress...even more so.

mine was 599.00 :o I really did not want to spend that much at all but it is perfect.

Wow! I didn't like ANYTHING IN David's Bridal...all of the dresses were too run of the mill...everyday bride if that makes sense. They tried to dress me up with the bustier...the dress...jewelry...veil and shoes...and I was still like Uck! Where are you getting married? In a church or other venue?

Good for you. I tried on a couple at a Bridal boutique other than David's and my sis and the Bridal consultant tried to convince me that the big, heavy, full beaded dresses were gorgeous on me...but my heart didn't jump and tears didn't come to my eyes...so I knew I still needed to look.

I will return my current dress to Dillards once I get my new dress.

Ladies when your husband get dem greencard please check the spelling of their first and last name and the SEX. Ours was okay, but my cousin got his card a month ago and when I looked at it dem mash up his first name and have him as FEMALE. Now, they telling him it can tek up to 6 to 12 weeks to correct and he has to make an INFOPASS appt. ..thing is he's suppose to leave for Jamaica Friday. His AP is still valid, I'm wondering if he can use it.

Absolutely he can! My son's green card didn't come when mine did, I got mine in May, he travelled on hus AP tp England in June and came back August.

08/14/2020 - Sent N-400 and I-912 waiver to TX lockbox

09/18/2020 - NOA via text

06/05/2021 - Notification of biometrics scheduled

09/17/2021 - Interview - decision cannot be made

Morning all!

Sus, so it seems we may be in the Negril area around the same time.....perhaps we'll have to arrange a meeting??

Ells, definitely - I will be in Negril either the 24th or 25th (depending on stuff w/ DJ) until the 27th at NBCC

Sus I am still holding out hope that things are worked out and you guys still get married.

I am hoping things work out too, Dillon - but getting married is NOT gonna happen on this trip - he has too much to prove to me before I could look him in the eyes and promise to love, honor, cherish,..... for the rest of my life.
