Hey ladies, I have a quick question about this process. Mister's medical exam is next Tuesday and as of today, he still has not received the interview appt letter from the embassy (packet 4??). I do believe that what they attached in an e-mail to me is the same letter though. If this is the case, should I just fax (or e-mail) it to him so he can take the fax copy with him to the exam?

Yes...he needs the interview letter to get the medical exam. At least, I remember my husband having to show it.

Oh okay...Do ya'll have field office onsite too? Has any auditors came to your TSC from Baltimore?

I worked with Medicare and Medicaid too. I did more financial work rather than site visits. I know one way to get fired is to try to look up someone that is famous or you own self on that system and RED FLAGS are going off.

Has anyone had to use a faxed (in other words, not original) copy to take with them? I'm also not sure if what the embassy e-mailed me is the 'official' letter although I *think* it is.

Make sure you always twirl once in front of the mirror before leaving home:

file000.jpg

I had a friend that went to Jamaica with me and she had on Hot Wheels undies with the flames shooting across her butt....I didn't notice it until we had partied half the night. By then...it was too late to tell her to change. LOL

Sus I am still holding out hope that things are worked out and you guys still get married.

Me too. I'm really praying that you will just move the honeymoon over to Negril Sus.

Jawi, I just sent you an EYE FULL...don't get a headache.

This whole process is a headache. It was nothing like this back when I filed before...geez! The NVC confirmed that they got my case yesterday...now what? How do I find out that the Embassy has it? I still don't have my hardcopy of my NOA2 yet.

I think that would be fine...of course I'm following you so take it with a grain of salt. LOL

How is the area where the SS office is? I've seen some with glass service windows..and interview section is guarded. People are not just going for SSNs they are also going to make claim for disability benefits. They might have mental problems that enable them to work. And if they don't get benefits they can go off.

I've seen some offices where the person making the claim is walked in the back to the claims rep desk. That is scary. Dont' have no sissors on you desk.

Ells you should be receiving the same letter they sent him in your mail. To cover yourself I would fax them what you have...I know I got my letter just before his medical so we would have been covered so it still may show up between now and then. I know some people have called the NVC to let them know that they didn't get their letter and they have emailed it to them. You might try that? Just explain that they need it for the medical and you nor him have received it.

:wow::rofl: they need to stop it.

We had that recommendation every year...for SSA to properly secure the field offices. it's good to know they have the chairs tied down. :hehe:

Title XVI was my area. So I always got the interesting interviews. Sad though. Seeing these young mothers complain about being so depressed that they can't work.
