Ja English, he deserved the one night in jail, did he see anybody else pissing in the streets. I know that this still goes on in JA, but he have heard the talk in JA, that this is not done here. He just wanted to do what he wanted to do.

Sooooooooooooo..........friends of mine (Jamaican) went to NY. While they were there, as is done in Jamaica, one of the guys peed on the street in a corner. NYPD blue arrested him there and then, he was lucky to only spend ONE night in jail. Judge was lenient (apparently) and told him the offence will lie on file for 6 months, and let him go.

Please, PLEASE tell your SO's this story, would hate to see them get in trouble...I know a lot of Jamaican men think it's nothing big...

LMAO - I can top that one - in my town, there is one bar by the beach that is the college hangout, lots of U students live in the area. The bar is small, small bathroom - a house nearby has a BIG boulder in the front yard, and is a frequent pit stop for drunk girls out of the bar = The owners of the house were constantly calling the cops. One night, the cops were standing in their LR explaining that they couldn't do anything unless they caught someone - the homeowner told them to turn and look out the window - 3 girls, peeing against the rock - out of sight from the street, but plain view from the window - So the cops had no choice but to arrest them - and it was written up in the paper, names and all, that they were arrested for public urination!

There are quite q few May interviews listed, so I guess you'll are going to have to set up a VJ hot line. Honey gets back today, so she will probably be on line tomorrow.

Next is Lovesponge 4/27 = Do you have someone's number to text / call and report back to us?

Roxie, well I guess growing up in Ja makes it an acceptable concept...I was like #######??? I didn't know you could get arrested for it - well I guess I thought you COULD but never would!

I can say I don't see the big deal if it isn't near someone's house or business.

In London, you can get arrested for spitting ANYWHERE, I was like ####### when I heard...

Hello yardies!

Well, Derron has been here for 2 weeks... and aside from us having fun when I'm not at work.... HE'S BORED!!

He eats, sleeps and watches movie or is on the internet. He is finding it difficult cuz he is used to working. My poor baby... I don't know what else I can tell him to do while I'm at work. I can't wait til his SS comes in so he can look for a job.

On the bright side.. we went on our first road trip to visit our parents. That was alot of fun! He's been driving since he got here but the drive to my folks was 9 hours. So naturally after 3.5 hours, we stopped at his dads house for a night. Then travelled to my parents the next day. He was TIRED!! And on the return, he drove straight the 9 hours. He's still catching up on his rest, lol.

I was going to try and catch up form part 13.... but decided not to. I hope everyone is well.

Hi Mrs Buggy, glad to hear the hubby is settling in - has he started looking for jobs? Seeing what is out there, browsing the paper, might kill some time- or maybe some classes - Microsoft has free online ones -

Hey Mrs Buggy, you finally came up for some air. Your hubby is just going through a natural adjustment phase he will be fine when he starts working and making friends. This place is nothing like JA where everybody knows everybody and you can just walk down the road and link up with people playing dominos or football. People in the states tend to stay to themselves, I have been here for years and still dont know my neighbors

LOL... yeah, I did decide that air is needed to survive!

You are right... and I'm sure this will pass. After visiting our parents, who both live in small towns, he is extremely interested in moving to where they are at. That just does not sit well w/ me especially since I know he will make friends and learn the place here soon. But I told him if he still felt the same way by the end of the year... we'll talk about moving. I am praying now that once he starts working and getting around, that he decides that he he likes it here cuz I really, really don't want to move! I guess we'll see.

Girl I feel you on that one, my Boo has not even gotten here yet and he is already talking about FT Lauderdale because he has a job waiting for him there and a lot of his family is there. I am like  I have my family here in Orlando and even though I really like FT Lauderdale I am not sure I want to move either.
