Good morning!

Long day at work ahead of me... but I'm struggling to even get out of bed. Last night, I dreamed that I got a call from someone who works for USCIS. She couldn't tell me about my petition, but instead told me how hard she works and how many files they have.

Mi guess that was the USCIS  telling you to sit down, sit back and relax it soon come???

Hey all - I know I have been MIA, but work is shyt right now - they started the terminations in our dept, so far two down and everyone is on eggshells - on top of that, tomorrow is my last day of class and I am so behind, plus have finals =

If that's not enough stress, as things stand right now, the wedding is off - will explain more later - no other women, no typical issues - just trusting my gut instead of my heart, since it's broken at the moment. I will explain more later, but I have to try to shut this out and get through my finals - don't know how I will though.

Please keep comments about this here and not on FB - I have people on my FB page that I don't want to deal with about this now.

Sus,

I will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong!!

For Africa to me... is more than a glamorous fact. It is a historical truth. No man can know where he is going unless he knows exactly where he has been and exactly how he arrived at his present place.

Nat,

I'm sure they do...I'm just wondering what do they actually do with the info we send them...they have to have criteria they look for to make sure relationships are valid so they apply those make sure the forms are properly filled out and move it along. Why does it take so long to get to the NOA2 stage?

Why does it take so long to get to the NOA2 stage?

I read the Q&A with a former Adjudicator (very informative. I think you go to Guides & look for it on the right side).... basically when they get the petitions, they take the checks from them, enter them in the computer, & put them in boxes on a shelf where they sit for 30-infinite days. In a supposedly first in/first out fashion, adjudicators take the boxes down to work on them. Some people take a box & work on it from home; others from their desk.

That's why I (and the two other people with very similar NOA1 dates who also haven't been touched) think that they misplaced the box with our files. Maybe someone took it home and then went on vacation. Maybe it's under someone's desk who is out sick. Who knows?

Here's the link to the Q&A session: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...dicator-q-and-a

It's your decision, of course. I know that I personally rather have less stress (work) and same pay. But if your supervisor adds to your stress then that is a factor, too.

But, poor guy! Why was he sleeping at the job overnight? Sounds like something out of "Pursuit of Happyness."

Tell them to keep the pay and give you more vacation time!!! No I'm joking but girl I say its worth it because the supervisor you have now is gunning fi yuh head so its time to make a move. I rather see you working harder than to not be working. Get my drift??

So wait he was sleeping on the job like just knocked out sleeping?? LOL that's not funny but it is....

Morning Reg AL

Some folks get hung up in the the security clearance stage and sometimes can hold up processing. Rule of thumb is up to 6 months for NOA2, I recvd mine in 7 months......

Me too! Some companies do. Mine doesn't though. But sometimes I think I would pay for extra vacation days.
