When I see people who submitted to CSC after me get approved so soon, it doesn't bother me at all (well, very little).

But I'm now experiencing seeing people who submitted to the same service center (VSC) after me get approved. Somehow, I hadn't thought this would happen [to me]. I find my feelings to plummet when that happens. Nothing against the people getting approved... I just want MY petition to be approved. Anyway, I know it'll happen in God's time, so I need to not worry about it.

But I have been checking my email every few minutes, cause I expect this NOA2 TODAY! (or at least this week).

[/rant]

I know. It's sooo frustrating. Then you start to wonder if something is wrong with your packet. I think it really comes down to your file being in a slow worker's box. Hang in there. I know easier said than done. You really should get it this week.

Exactly, Nat - it's very very frustrating, especially when you see people after you get approved - but have faith, it will come soon!

Hey you New York ladies....or anyone in the vicinity........

I am going to Cooperstown in July, I think. Is Albany the best airport to fly into?

How easy is it for me to get to: Yankee Stadium? Mets Stadium? Boston Stadium? from Cooperstown.

Planning this trip is very confusing on the net. Any advice would be appreciated. Please.

Albany would be closest - did you find this link?

http://www.thisiscooperstown.com/directions.cfm

You had better not come this close and not link up with me? I think you probably would need a rental to get from Cooperstown to NYC -

Thank you. I didn't have that link.

Of course. Looking at July 23rd or 24th through the 27th or something like that. Just talking it through right now. Want to see induction ceremony and check out some baseball legends. Write it on your calandar.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I feel you. Sometimes I wish I kept my engagement a secret so that I wouldn't get asked 5 times a day when I'm getting married and when he's coming over here. On the other hand, I'm my favorite subject of conversation, so it doesn't bother me that much. :innocent:

I definitely will - PM Island, she can probably add some info - Another airport you might want to look at, especially if you are going to rent a car, is White Plains (HPN). It would be about a 2 hr drive or so to Cooperstown, about 30 minutes or so to NYC - But it's small and easy to get in and out of -

Oh! I dont know whats going on with everyone since I've been gone so long. But I just wanted to stop in and say hi! I hope everyone is doing well.

Wow! That is truly sad. I really feel bad for her because she is obviously not painting the entire picture. Felony assault charges are pretty serious. Like another poster said "a simple argument" would not have him charged with felony assault. I hope that she seeks help for herself as well. 4 days and involved in an argument to that degree? WOW!:(

That is beyond crazy - I looked up Aggravated Assault in GA - that is a SERIOUS crime, not just a misunderstanding - If that happened after only 4 days here, what is to come?

oooppppsss!!! Pardon my manners.

They had to go to 3 intervioews before he was orginally granted his visa. Their story is a wild one.

Are you serious? Did she post a story in her profile?
