@ JGay -- thank you so much for posting your experience. I think it's helpful to hear real stories of the adjustment period. I agree with a previous post PUT THOSE RINGS BACK ON your fingers. It'll be a constant reminder even when you're angry, when you are not together of the commitment that you made to each other. I also recommend that you and the hubby sit down and watch the movie FIREPROOF. It's a real good movie on how to "fireproof" your marriage. Check out the trailer here http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/. It's awesome and shows you the work you have to put in to build and solidify a marriage. I watched it ON DEMAND a few weeks ago. Good luck to the two of you and congrats on the little one -- what a blessing. And remember God never gives us more than we can deal with.

The married ministry at my church watched this one day. I'll have to find it.

Congratulations on getting an interview date! Can't wait to hear about the experience.

Thanks yardies!

@ Kimmy -- yes, I'm going down -- wouldn't miss this for the world. It actually worked out well 'cause that's Memorial day week and I had planned to take off of work anyway! Whoohooo!

@NatPatBen -- the movie is really good and insightful. Let me know what you think after you watch it.

@ Rox -- thanks for the info. about the medical. I just looked it up on the embassy's web site, because unfortunately no other instructions came with the letter and we never received Packet #3. Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day we are having here! We went straight from winter to summer within a week ... gotta love the DMV area!

Be blessed yardies... enjoy your Saturday!

Congratulations Marie!

Hi Everyone!

Jgay, Thank you so much for sharing your journey with your husband. I know that was not easy. I was crying when I read it because I can relate. This adjustment has been one of the toughest things I have experienced and the saddest part is that I do not have a soul to talk to about it. I have just kept everything bottled up for fear of coming off as a b...... The only person I could share this with is my brother, but he will misunderstand and overreact thinking I need to be saved from something horrible, but that's not the case. I know I cannot share much, but I want to thank you for sharing your story.

U can always share with us! I know some things are personally so you can only say so much but if you need to get some things off your chest we'll listen. I think in this process there will be good and there will be bad its not a easy thing at all but who better to talk to then those going through it with you.

Hi yardies - Whagwaan?! Well it looks lot a lot is going on -- babies for some, marriage plans for others, visa processing moving along for a few .... I'm sending a big congrats to everyone with good news! I'm on and off on the board -- dealing with a lot of issues at the job and sometimes coming home and logging on the computer is the last thing I want to do. Well I have some good news also --AW and I got our interview date -- May 29th at 7:30 a.m. We are excited and nervous (or maybe I should say anxious). So we are trying to get everything together for the interview. If anyone can point me in the direction of good/cheap drs. for the medical appointment, please PM me or send me a link.

Quana was telling us about this movie in e-mail. She said it was realy good. I wonder if its still on Demand I'll have to check and look.

I acquired the movie this morning, so I'll check it out this weekend.

To all, enjoy the rest of your weekends! I just got back from taking my Little Brother (Big Bro/Big Sis) bowling. It took me 3 games to bowl over 100. :crying:

Morning Yardies, I am about to leave to the airport and just had to say goodbye. The next time I post here I will either be very happy :jest: or extremely depressed :crying: if things dont go the way I hope. Thanks to everyone for all your blessings, you guys are the best. Talk to you in a couple of days.
