LOL - My ex worked night security at the Coliseum by himself... the circus was in town..............

Sus. Isn't that illegal in at least 48 states?:rofl::rofl:

Hi KK. I think we are the only two here tonight. How are you?

Thanks everyone...it does feel good to write it out there and get opinions...(don't worry i won't think ya'll are haters)...I am very open to corrective criticism cause one person can open your eyes to something you never thought of...but right now i'm happy...We both stopped wearing our rings though...well he said he didn't put on his ring cause i stopped wearing my ring but i saw he stopped wearing his ring first...he said the reason he didn't have his ring on cause he was cooking and took it off but when he noticed i wasn't wearing mine he just never put it back on...but i told him i'm not wearing my ring cause i'm not happy and will not put it on until I am... :hehe: ...We are very open with each other and tell it like it is...which is good and I'm glad that we are both comfortable with each other on that level...because of that I truly feel my husband has my best interest in heart and he really cares for me and loves me...But we are taking it one day at a time and see what the future holds...hopefully it will be good...

Congratuations Jgay on the baby. Next time you get to being undecided about how you feel about being pregnant just remember that everything happens for a reason and one day you will know the reason and it will more than likely be a good thing. That is what I did when I was pregnant. Also glad you guys are working things out. It is hard being married after you have been single for so long sometimes in single life you develop a lot of bad habits that you got to work out in married life that is how I look at it. Anyway good luck and I'm glad things are looking up for you guys.

Opportunities are like sunrises - if you wait too long, you miss them.

I have a question - what song reminds you of your man at this moment??

For me - it's Keisha's Cole song "Please Don't Stop (Loving Me)" I played it 5 times in a row

I Need You Bad by Jazmine Sullivan (because the man speaking in Patois in the beginning of the song sounds like him)!

Hi Everyone. Have a blessed and peaceful day!

umm shaunsgal i think thats a lady matter of fact i heard it was missy

That is hella funny! When that music came out, Shaun was the only Patois I was hearing so I immediately made the connection between the patois/song and him. I will make it a point never to tell him that's why I love this song. He will hit the roof.:rofl: Anyway I still love the song. (L)

Yay for going to Jamaica! Good luck on the interview!

I saw Seven Pounds, but couldn't watch near the end. Definitely sad. Also, I felt it dragged a bit in the middle... could've moved a bit faster.

Congratulations Jgay!

Congratulations Marie!

Hi Everyone!

Jgay, Thank you so much for sharing your journey with your husband. I know that was not easy. I was crying when I read it because I can relate. This adjustment has been one of the toughest things I have experienced and the saddest part is that I do not have a soul to talk to about it. I have just kept everything bottled up for fear of coming off as a b...... The only person I could share this with is my brother, but he will misunderstand and overreact thinking I need to be saved from something horrible, but that's not the case. I know I cannot share much, but I want to thank you for sharing your story.

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

Hi yardies - Whagwaan?! Well it looks lot a lot is going on -- babies for some, marriage plans for others, visa processing moving along for a few .... I'm sending a big congrats to everyone with good news! I'm on and off on the board -- dealing with a lot of issues at the job and sometimes coming home and logging on the computer is the last thing I want to do. Well I have some good news also --AW and I got our interview date -- May 29th at 7:30 a.m. We are excited and nervous (or maybe I should say anxious). So we are trying to get everything together for the interview. If anyone can point me in the direction of good/cheap drs. for the medical appointment, please PM me or send me a link.

@ JGay -- thank you so much for posting your experience. I think it's helpful to hear real stories of the adjustment period. I agree with a previous post PUT THOSE RINGS BACK ON your fingers. It'll be a constant reminder even when you're angry, when you are not together of the commitment that you made to each other. I also recommend that you and the hubby sit down and watch the movie FIREPROOF. It's a real good movie on how to "fireproof" your marriage. Check out the trailer here http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/. It's awesome and shows you the work you have to put in to build and solidify a marriage. I watched it ON DEMAND a few weeks ago. Good luck to the two of you and congrats on the little one -- what a blessing. And remember God never gives us more than we can deal with.

Gongrats Unruly.. as far as the medical A will have to use the doctors that are recommended by the embassy, Can't remeber where A lives in JA. I do remeber that one of them is located in Kingston, and the other is located in Ochio.
