I’m bringing my spouse and my new (2) kids to the USA on, either, the K-3/K-4 or CR-1/CR-2. Is there a place where I can find all the requirements listed, which pertain to the kids (minor children)? I am especially interested in knowing whether medical exams and police reports must be completed for the kids. Any comments and additional information, regarding the kids, is appreciated.

Let me rephrase my query…

I’m bringing my spouse and my new (2) kids to the USA on, either, the K-3/K-4 or CR-1/CR-2. If any of you have gone through the process of bringing minor step-children into the USA under either of these programs, please share with me what items were required for them, specifically. Currently, we have completed passports and custodial information. I am especially interested in knowing whether medical exams, police reports or other (additional) items were required to be completed in your cases.

My wife and stepson came from Ukraine. Stepson needed to do the medical exam but the fee for the exam was lower.

Be sure to have all vaccination records translated as you will need these for school in the USA.

Might be a good idea to contact your local school and find out what shots are needed and have it all done before the children arrive.

He did not need a police report since he is a minor. So basicly, all children need to be listed in the VISA application and they must do a medical exam.

This shouldnt be a problem and im sure she already has the childrens passports or has them in her passport.

hope this helps.
