You might want to check travel insurance options first.

Am not positive but do Read thro' the tourist visa requirements from your local consulate.

Your parents would have to show they can finance their trip, their stay and also, show strong ties to their native country.

In 2000, I helped my 75 years old aunt from Vietnam get a tourist visa. I wrote a letter to her inviting her to visit me in the US. In the letter I stated that I would pay for everything. Further, I stated that I wanted her to visit so 1) she can visit her father's grave, 2) be reunited with her brother whom she had not seen in 25 years, and 3) to see your grandchildren whom she had not seen in 7 years. My aunt has one daughter living in the US.

My aunt is a poor farmer in the one of the poorest area of Vietnam. However, she owned her own home and had children and grandchildren there. USCIS found that to be sufficient ties for her to return to Vietnam after her trip.

Someone once said they didn't want their POOR and OLD parents to visit, because if they needed any medical care while here, they would be responsible/liable, for any and all of the care of their parents.
